Yes, I'm sure every black athlete in the League is giddy about the chance to join Jeremy Lin's 30-city Asian fan tour.
Find another superstar besides Dwight who's more interested in his brand than the team he plays for. I'll be waiting.

I don't disagree with you about Dwight's obsession with marketing. I disagree with your belief that Jeremy Lin's budding Asian fanbase is actually going to make a difference in Dwight deciding where he signs long-term.

A bunch of s chanting "Jeremy Rin" doesn't mean much when compared to the opportunity of being the face of a brand new Brooklyn franchise in the biggest city in the US.

That's what I'm saying. Brooklyn won't have the cap for him. Next best option would be L.A. But he'd likely have to walk after the season to L.A AND Lakers getting rid of Bynum. I'm not saying Lin could open up all the endorsements by himself, I'm saying the ones Yao opened would come rushing back if Lin does come to Houston. Then Dwight has his opportunity to go international. Tracy McGrady is STILL popular in China. I'm just saying.

Knicks shouldn't have gone around boasting "oh, we'll match any deal up to a billion dollars" and get butthurt when someone calls bluff.

I wouldn't be lol'ing if I were HOU. Lin still has a big bust factor and while the contract for NY is structured strangely, either way they are paying him more than he will be worth - it's just to what degree (from a basketball perspective).

If he improves on his limited sample size consistently he will be in line with what he is worth. If he doesn't improve or it was a fluke, it will be laughably bad.

I think Felton will actually do fine in NY. He is more than capable and in that system he should do just fine. Felton for less years and money to me is the better play.

Depends on if he comes into camp in shape.

Two years ago Felton played great in New York, granted this time around he's not gonna have the ball as much as he did two years ago.

I still think NY needs a shooting guard more reliable than JR Smith. After that they'd still need Amare and Melo to grow up and learn how to co-exist. Good luck with that

signing lin would guarantee you an inflow of extra incomes from the far east at the very least, even if he turns out to be and overpaid, he'll still be a profit-making stock for you
