Argentina played bad throughout the game just had spurts here and there that kept them in the game. Scola sucked prettty bad today. I feel for Manu he's a compe or like no other and when you lose like that, is going to hurt especially the fact that he cant come back next year and try again. That was it for him, tough to see Argentina to go down

Kevin Durant: 153 points this Olympics.. Manu Ginobili (155) leads all players in total points.
At 35 years old Manu played very well in the olympics, so proud of that guy, just wish he could get that last medal. Manu said he wont be able to sleep tonight.
Thanks ElNono for the film clips. Today was a sad day for the Argentinean team. They should be extremely proud of their accomplishments. The gold in 04 was epic! All Spurs fans should do as Pop did and give a toast to Manu Ginobili tonight. As Muddy Waters once said, "ain't that a man!"

Just two more years for the World cup... just saying.
Gasol had the 153.
KD leads all with 156...
Mills with the most PPG!

Maybe this loss will make Ginobili re-think his NT situation. At 35 dominated at every game of the tournament. He's a legend tbh.
knowing the kind of compe or that Manu is and knowing that this is not the way he wants to end his career on a losing note I could possibly see him at least one more time in the World Championships. It's interesting to hear him not rule anything out about coming back again. Poor guy must really be depressed if he says this is close to the worst loss in his careerMaybe this loss will make Ginobili re-think his NT situation. Even though Manu will be 39 I think he'll be playing in Rio 2016. So close to home, why not?
Big respect to Manu ! dude is an incredible compe or
Maybe he'll be the coach for them by then?
Any of you guys from Argentina know what happened to Walter Herman? I thought he used to be pretty good coming off the bench for Argentina
I feel really bad for him, man. Tough year for him and for all Spurs players who played in the Olympics. To come away empty-handed in the Olympics after a disappointing WCF in the NBA...just a bad year for anything Spurs-related. I'm proud of them all, though, especially Manu.
I heard he had an injury...at least it was mentioned offhand by the Telemundo announcers during the compe ion.
Ahh... It would of been cool if him and Oberto been part of the team this year... the other big men they have are awful
He pretty much hanged them up... he played for a bit last year in the Argentina league but I think he's done with basketball...
Hopefully, they don't have to wait until Manu's kids turn 18 for Argentina to have another championship caliber squad but it's just tough trying to recruit athletes there to play basketball when Soccer is obviously the main draw there.
Supposedly, he was invited to team play this year but he sprained his ankle and didn't come back according to Telemundo.
I don't see things like that tbh
Spurs have had a fantastic year, I would have never expected this amazing year with our roster. Manu had a superb tournament and Argentina can be proud to be in the best 4.
France has not been lucky to have their quarter against Spain, Spain is clearly too strong.
Of course Manu, TP... are compe ors so they are disappointed but they also realize I'm sure they had a great season
well maybe his kids might play for the USA since I think they have dual citizenship
