Maybe you need to just look at the list again. It speaks for itself.

Dylan had a great sound for what he was about. His vocals were perfect for the songs he sung. Not unlike the old Tom Waits or the legendary Charley Patton. They weren't trying to be a song bird, it wouldn't fit.
