son don't patronize us. If not for a missed three pointer the Hornets would have won the game tonight. I think both the Hornets and Spurs will be fighting it out for the #6-8th seeds this season.
Rather see Mason on the floor over Rivers.

I agree. Waste of a 10th pick. Lamb, Henson, Terrence Jones would have been better picks.
son he's only played 1 LEGIT NBA GAME so far lol. I mean even for me that is way to quick to pass judgement. at least give the guy 20 games.
Son, I wasn't kidding, tbh... I liked what I saw from Lopez, Unibrow and Aminu... if Anderson is hitting then there's gonna be a lot of space in there.
Im just basing it on the facts. Watched this dude a lot. His talent isn't that great. Alot of hype because of his last name.
same number of games gordon gon play
Very scrappy, try hard performance from a team with very little talent sans Gordon. They fight hard but will lose a lot of games still because they can't do a whole lot offensively. I didn't like they went away from their best defensive line up (Uni and Lopez) in favor of the 3 point chucker.
son what facts? preseason??? lol .... you can't count that!
look if the guy is a bum 20 games down the road then I'll be right there with you, but at least give him a legit chance.
son HOPEFULLY that is
I'm basing it on his skills. I watched him in college too and he just doesn't do a lot of things well. Actually not anything well.
I agree. Monty stuck with Anderson and Davis together too long allowing Duncan to dominate late. Should have brought in Lopez sooner.
no he should have brought in Jason Smith.
Duncan would have abused him as well in the paint. Lopez was the best matchup defensively at that point.
I just got home from the game and haven't read all of the posts but let me just say this... The Hornets lost tonight because they were too big of pussies to man the up in crunch time and win. Save all of your ing "young rebuilding team" cliches and shove them up your ing ass. It's all excuses, and the most weak-minded mentality that I've ever heard. You have a 2 point lead and possession of the ball with 2 minutes left in the game. Grow a ing sack, choose to be winners, and close the game out. Losing is a mentality, and until you choose NOT to be losers, the result will be the same. ing pathetic, and the fact that I had to listen to hundreds of Hornets fans take solace in the fact that "oh, we lost, but we played really well" is even more pathetic. If you're talented enough to be leading a 48 minute basketball game with 2 minutes left, then you're talented enough to win it. Stop wasting my ing time and money. (lol meltdown).
Uh-huh. High career percentage shooters were cold as for us this night. Don't play that woulda coulda shoulda and just be happy your team was compe ive for a change.
great post .... son I wish more Hornets fans thought this way. however I do think you're overacting just a bit. Lets see what they do over the next 20 games or so before passing that type of judgement.
making excuses like the you are. son it was a game that could have gone either way. you make an excuse for your team, I can do the same for mine. your team received more help from the refs at the freebie line. Jason Smith didn't get enough minutes .... the list goes on
I experienced something you will never experience. I watched the team I have followed since I was 8 years old win a national championship. I was a fan back in 1987 when we lost to LA. I was a fan back when the wheels fell off the franchise back in 1992. I was a fan and had to endure losing to Miami back in 2006. I endured McWilliams, Nelson and Johnson having blowout losses to the Timberwolves.
Fact is it was all worth it see us win the MNC. You can say what you want, but Rick is a better coach than anything you have ever had in New Orleans and if he were at New Orleans win or lose he would be a legend just like he is at Dallas. When your city wins something, anything then you can judge Rick but until then you don't know what you are talking about.
He needs to be replaced, there is no doubt about it, but he goes out with dignity and respect he has earned.
your team received more whistles
The Pelicans... that makes me laugh every time I read it. I'd watch them all season just to hear that name.
lol sons bump must be going hard on that liquor tonight!
son Dallas Mavericks won a NATIONAL championship????
Spurs missed about 10 wide open 3s. Just be thankful you didn't lose by double digits.
The thing the Spurs are best at, knocking down the 3, they were awful at tonight. I see all these Hornets fans thinking they played well. Sorry you should be worried. Can't have the opposing team taking and missing wide open shots and call it good defense.
Spurs are just easing their way into the season like they do every year.
Other then Davis the Hornets didn't look good in any area. Anything that went right for them was just the Spurs on cruise control and playing sloppy, missing shots.
I've been a Spurs fan long enough to know the first 10 games of the season they are gonna have a handful where they look like they are sleepwalking.
