Spurs defense is a disaster. They are trying to be aggressive on the player with the ball but the rotations and box out aren't there. It's so bad that they got burned by a weak team like the wizards. If it's Spurs new defensive strategy, it's going to be a long, long season.
leonard needs to improve that decision making... take that 3 if you open son
This honestly has not been a good preseason from what I have seen. The only positives is Duncan playing well and Nando De Colo looking like a good NBA prospect. Other than that, a whole lot of negatives.

Leonard's made one nice baseline move in this game thus far. Overall I can't say I've been too impressed with his decisions off the dribble this preseason. He's been a disappointment.
I don't care about Leonard missing shots of going through a shooting slump. I don't think driving baseline into two defenders and throwing up a garbage shot a-la Kobe Bryant is a good decision.

i think he's being encouraged to drive & mix it up with some new tools that he's supposedly added to his arsenal. Unfortunately those tools aren't refined yet and he hasn't quite learned when he should use which tool.
It's a big jump to go from spot-up shooter to a do-it-all player offensively.. especially if you don't have that natural instinct.
