Yeah I'm a Patty fan, but I'm also not on the backup PG bandwagon.

He's better off running the floor on the fastbreak and being a spot up shooter.
Since Mills has been in the lead has increased by 6 despite Neal.

Which is what he does when Manu's on the floor.
Yeah which is why I cringe when he puts Neal with Patty on the floor.

if Duncan gets the rest of his game going, could have the quadruple-double, already has 6 blocks

Doesn't mean Patty must be the backup point though. That combo also allowed the Wolves to cut the lead to 3.

Don't think that's going to be a winning combination when the playoffs roll around. It works fine against most teams but we can't ask Manu to run the point against a team like the Clippers or the Thunder without someone else on the floor who can handle.

I thought patty has played well. Yes he missed a couple of shots but he has been very active and it seems his defence has picked up. I think people expect too much from our players. The back up point guard isnt going to be lebron james.

The only reason the wolves are still in this is because of all the fouls we're giving away.

Pekovic goes up strong. Splitter responds with a weak layup where he tried to draw the foul

Manu doesn't really run the point. He runs the plays on offense, but it's Patty who takes up the ball and defends the opposing point guard on defense. His speed makes him an upgrade over Neal.

Which player would you like to see running the point?

This. Actually I think when all is said and done Patty's compe ion for minutes is going to be Neal.

Not Splitter's night so far. Pekovic is really good.

Pop again and his strange lineups again. Tiago is getting killed by Pekovic. TD was dominating in the 1st quarter. TD should be on him and it would allow Pop go with Jax or Kawhi on Cunningham
