Sad thread. It's not the Spurs people don't care about. It's San Antonio. San Antonio is boring, the river walk is a 'one time' destination spot and beyond that, there is nothing to hang our hat on. The Spurs, a Rodeo and the Tower of the Americas, that has the crappiest restaurant you'd ever want to go to. Just low standards all around. I could go on and perhaps will. You know people here are totally clueless, when the Dallas and Houston comparison threads go on. Not a fan of Dallas, but SA is not Dallas. And Houston is just a world class city. San Antonio is just a big cow town.

Yet no one wears Mavs or rockets gear, like ever. Well, expect possibly you and the crackhead you're getting sexual favors from. Don't skeet skeet on her retro Rockets starter jacket kid.

I'm from Dallas and I agree in principle, but San Antonio is pretty great. Lots of tourist attractions like SeaWorld and other theme park places. Dallas is a much better "city life" locale but San Antonio is great for attractions and a vacation. Lots of great Texas history there, too. Austin is a little better than SA but both have their pluses and minuses. Dallas is a much better "world class" city (not really world class, but definitely in the upper echelon of US cities) than Houston is, based on its population, downtown, and top-quality shopping and restaurants.

Houston better than San Antonio, though? San Antonio has a reason to vacation there, at least. Houston is one of the worst big Texas cities tbh... Never really liked the place, it's too industry-heavy and has a lot of repugnant air.

I don't mean any disrespect to anybody from the Houston area either tbh... just my take. San Antonio is a very unique city, similar to San Diego in some respects.

LOL no. Dallas is a bland, boring pit filled with superficial 30k millionaire idiots. Houston is actually much nicer, there's more to do, better food, close to the coast, etc.

San Antonio is boring but pleasant, which makes it about a million times better than Dallas.

Houston is just like LA, except in a swamp and with none of the world culture.
