This seems like a pretty tricky type of injury and it will be wise for the Spurs to shut him down for the remainder of the season to play it safe. There is no sense in aggravating an injury even further if we have aspirations to play in June.
this guy is made of glass... smh

For the resident google doctors, I found this interesting picture:

But the Spurstalk medical experts said it wouldn't be a big deal!![]()
well hopfuly its not too serious and tony recovers in a week or 2.....maybe less
Parker is probably kicking back eating a hero sandwich and watching a rerun of Game 6, dude should be fine.
I predict Tony out 2-3 weeks minimum. A Spurs first round exit is now officially a strong possibility
Jkid jerking it furiously to the thought of Patty starting in the 1st round.
I predict Tony will be fine and be ready for the play offs.....
Spurs should be fine if they get either Memphis or Dallas.
They better hope they don't draw Phoenix cause they definitely need Tony for that series.
Hopefully he won't miss a lot of time.
This is bad tbh, his injury could linger throughout the playoffs. We better hope Kawhi steps up big time.
agree suns are a scary team ....hopefully tony fine by than
Suns aren't scary and Tony won't be needed in the first round (at least to advance) against any of Dallas, Memphis, or Phoenix.
all 3 TEAMS WILL be tanking now to get 8th seed. Whod u rather face? Okc? Clippers? Or a Parkerless Spurs?
If Parkers injury lingers Spurs are done and have no chance in .
That's what happens when you prioritize a worthless FIBA championship over an NBA le. Thirteen years and Tony Parker's still disappointing Spurs fans.
Seriously... I think he'll probably be back by then anyway and he can use that first round to get some rhythm back. If some how he is out longer, they should still be able to handle those teams. Perfect chance for Kawhi to raise his level and with Manu/Marco/Diaw/Patty, that's more than enough to shoulder the load at least offensively.
The Mavs become an even more ideal first-round opponent. The Spurs defense won't have a big dropoff with Joseph instead of Parker, and the Mavs defense is so bad that Parker won't even be needed.
We match up well with Dallas and Memphis. I would rather Parker be there but we can beat them.
I would wait for an official report on how much time he's gonna miss first.
Suns are scariest out of Dallas/Memphis/Phoenix, but the chances of them beating us in a 7-game series without HCA are practically non-existent. I think they take us to 6 games max, regardless of Parker playing or not.
We beat Dallas and Memphis in 5 games max with or without Parker.
Could have been worse tbh.

who told you you were funny?
I'll take it... could have been out for the season.
Officially listed as a "sprained facet joint, left side" He will be listed as day-to-day following Minnesota & Dallas road games.
From Boris' cyst injury last season to Tony's sprained facet joint this season....leave it to the French to come down with never before seen NBA injuries tbh.
