You have to consider that George is one of the softest players in the league, to be fair..
Mentally soft, yes..he'll be citing lack of "muscle memory" in all likelihood, tbh..
that was nasty
Glad the Spurs traded his ass now tbh
That sucks he was a bit overrated but a rising star.
i guess he didnt see that ming after what he did during the year with team mates wags
wasnt this clown engage to doc rivers daughter? lmao
I wonder if Jim O'Brien is thinking Karma
i never trust dr klapper. he also said kobe would be back by opening night after the achilles and that he would come back stronger than ever![]()
Dr. Besteva says he wont be able to return for most of the regular season. That problem with a compound fracture is not the bone itself but its the near by nerves it damages. When the bone explodes like that, it causes damage to nerves and he may be in rehab for 6-8 months before he can even begin training.
Again, its not the bones Id be worried about, they heal pretty fast. Its the nerve damage, if he avoided that some how then he'll have a faster recovery. Take a look at MMA fighter Corey Hill and Anderson Silva.
Both suffered a compound fracture, Corey Hills was career ending as he sustained severe nerve damage. Anderson Silva miraculously did not damage nerves but he required 8 months before he could train again and is going to fight in January making it a 1 year and 1 month lay off.
PG will be back, but will he fully recover mentally? Any word on the full extent of the injury btw?
If Shaun Livingston can recover from his horrible accident then Paul George should be fine. A broken leg is nowhere close to as bad as a blown knee..
me. Huge blow for Paul George
and rose is better than ever![]()
Pretty gruesome. I hope he can recover without any complications.
holy that's funny. Link?
How is that bad for Stephenson again? He signed for a short term deal so he could get paid and also be a UFA at 27.
? Stephenson was a second round pick so he was an unrestricted free agent. Pacers couldn't match.
Slightly more money per year and a shorter term of contract. He would be a free agent at 27 as opposed to 29. Thats a very smart move. He has a chance to improve his stock and make much more. Taking the money on the the Pacers offered $ 44 million over 5 years was safer but probably would have cost him $ 10 million easily.
If he were to sign, say a 4 years $ 50 million dollar deal in 2017 he would make $52 million over 5 seasons as opposed to 5 years, $44 million.
Horrific tbh. The NBA should dissolve these nigglets to play in international tournaments. The Olympics should be an exception.
