The only way he struck a nerve with me is because he went on a rant in a completely inappropriate place and didn't have any of his facts straight. Yeah, the embodiment of the American Spirit. Sure makes me proud.

I don’t understand that either.
People can say what they want. But those who truly want to help Katrina’s victims will put their money and/or time where their mouth is.
That goes for everyone from politician to rappers and to public citizens.
easy access for a large rescue op vs a reporter getting in by a small boat or helo or whatever is different.
I've heard some people are going to lose their jobs in FEMA for the terrible response to this disaster. Of course none will be from the Top.
Don't be too sure about that...Brown at least is a goner, IMO.
