This is good news. +1 FO, now go get LMA.
I know Parker is making the trip, but Manu has family that he's with and that's an awful long flight (15hrs?) for lunch. They can Facetime or Skype if needed.
This is good news. +1 FO, now go get LMA.
hope you are right.
Good for Kawhi! Take over and don't fizzle out in the playoffs next year.
Why aren't the meltdown threads over the FO not maxing him out last summer being bumped.
Man SpursTalk really is going to .
sup french got.
The only way he'll be there is if he took a private jet. He was watching the soccer game last night with his kids in Argentina, and there's no way to make it in time to LA on a commercial airliner.
That said, I don't think this means anything about his possible retirement.
Why is Damian Lillard's max higher than Kawhi's? Is just draft position?
Lillard drafted a year later. His max is based on next year's projected cap being basis for his year 1 number. Neither is getting the Rose Rule max, as Lillard's only made one All NBA team. Maybe he'll chuck his way into another one next season, which would bump him to 30% instead of 25% of the cap. Doubtful though given Westbrook/Curry/Harden/Paul have a firm grasp on four of the spots, with Kyrie not far away.
Rumors are ''it's a $90M for 5 yrs extension"..why extension not new contract?
I wonder why too..
Thanks.![]()
But how awesome would it be if Lillard did qualify for a Rose extension and managed to get Anthony Davis money next year![]()
That's still on the table, apparently. If Lillard makes the All-Star team or an All-NBA team (or wins MVP), we will be eligible for the Rose max even though he wasn't when he signed the extension. And apparently, the Blazers have already agreed to give it to him if he earns it.
There's no way in Damien is even worth Kawhi's max, let alone Davis' max.
Time to start the Lillard ASG starter campaign. Would be hilarious to see him paid Davis money. He's not making 3rd team All NBA because writers aren't that dumb.
Officially official.

Sweet! Some nice stats too.
Hoping for a breakout season for Kawhi at least in terms of offensive consistency..It is hard to believe that he's only 24--at least a couple or three years away from NBA's player peak age..
I'm glad this is official. Just hung up my framed autographed jersey...
Nice. So we got LMA, Green, Marjonovic, Leonard, and Bonner done. Now just waiting on West...
And Manu
