Cn is right here ...
Durant or Deandre?
CN, you my nig and all, but all you have to say about Durant is how much of a beta he is. Doesn't help his days as an MVP-level player are probably over.
He's about to become an alpha, tbh![]()
So you want "Durbeta" now? Can he play center?![]()
Chicken PERID
Welp, GL with that. I'll be fine with the Spurs taking a rain check on him next year especially with his daddeh's Kawhi and Danny on the roster...
I'd rather have DeAndre Jordan the next four years. And so would you if you're being honest.
So DeAngelo Russell rookie of the year? Kobe comeback player of the year? Fredo Buss wins executive of the year? Lake Show cruises back to the Finals and on top of the LA basketball scene once again?
DJ must really believe he is the second coming of David Robinson.
We still need a good PG to optimize the impact of Jordan imho.

If rich man's Erick Dampier is your best player and franchise player than you might as well be playing for the #1 pick in the draft.
Durant will be a Grizzlie next season. You heard it here first.
Jordan ain't even the same type of player as Erica imho. How many times throughout his career have you seen Erica fishing an alley-oop, have you ever seen Erica running so fast and jumping so high like Jordan?
Only to join the Lakers the season after in exchange for some craps and picks. We know the Lakers have a farm team that's located in Memphis, tbh.
Not really. The Grizzlies traded Pau for Marc.
Memphis traded Pau for Brown + fillers + the right to Marc (which was basically equivalent to a pick at that time), and there was no guarantee back then that Marc would be so good imho. Without Pau, the Lakers are light two.

Or 3-way trade with Brendan Haywood's contract that could enable Clips to make offer for Nene, Pekovic or Koufos. There are ways out for LAC
Just as Suns did w/Steve Nash & Cavs did with LeBron, Clippers need to put aside emotion & try to get Mavs to do sign & trade for exception

For example: double sign & trade with Monta Ellis that would land Roy Hibbert in LA & help Mavs pick up an asset or two plus Jordan.
I know. I was kidding. According to Chris Wallace in a radio interview he was choosing betwen Sun Yue or Marc Gasol. Luckily for the Grizzlies he made the right choice.
While I agree that you needed a different piece than Jordan, more of a consistently potent wing scorer of the SG/SF variety that can also defend, it also puts you in a tough situation. You will be good enough to where you won't be in the lottery most likely, and bad enough to where you're dependent upon free agency to land that coveted third piece, and better than average center. Granted, the cap is going up and that's fantastic, but now you're in a position where you have to fight a bunch of other teams for the same player(s) with a team that hasn't exactly made a dent yet on the current landscape. The Clippers could literally go either way, but I think they'll add two more pieces in the coming years but the question is, will they add the right pieces? We shall see.
Clippers cant even make LA their town with the Lakers in rebuild mode
The Clippers will be fine imo. They did the right thing by not overpaying for Jordan.
