So many jams from my youth..... ing great times.
Y'all didn't listen to much east coast? The Infamous was the East Coast version of Riding Dirty; e.g., a completely flawless album.
Gotta love The Roots too. I can't believe Fallon was able to land them as his band.
Late 90s - sure but the music of 90s ERA is goat for a reason
Early 2000s? I'm thinking LLcool J, Jay-Z, Nelly? Who else. This was the beginning of the Bling Era. IMO, it got old really quick.

hilarious thread
Turned up a bit tonight.
early 2000s was absolute trash for rap, tbh..
Devin can give a less about anything as long as he has some weed and his ride
I know BB hates on that BTNH...but this is the .
iirc I think that track was on Faces of Death or whatever that underground they first dropped was
Ball and G went deep on that track^^^
Btw...I dedicate that to all of our resident fake internet lifers.
Ja Rule era. tbh
Basically anything after 97' is pretty hit or miss.
Aquemini was their best album. '3000 was in rare form, literally every song he had a fantastic verse. His verse on Rosa Parks is one of the better verses in rap.
B.O.B still holds up, its an unskippable track on shuffle.
Minute to pray, second to die is my favorite 'Face track. Born Killer is up their too. In Cold Blood, I Seen A Man Die, and Mr. Scarface are all great too.
"Spoke with his killa, now he's got to face him..."
det ing beat
