Sounds good. Since Spurs ball and basketball in general is the only reason I even have cable I can justify the price. Are all games also available online if you sign up?
That's a different story. If you live in SA, it blacks out the Spurs games locally (since you can watch them on local cable). So if you are getting for SA games and you live in SA it won't work. But since you can watch SA on cable - you don't need LP for SA.

You get to watch all NBA games including online/phone when you get LP (except nationally televised games)

The only ones that aren't broadcast locally (I think) are the nationally televised games (but even then I think the local feed is active). Not sure about the channel is SA - I live in Austin.

Weird - do you mean you don't see the listing on the guide or that you called and despite seeing the game listed, they said it's not playing? Both on my NBA Gametime App & Cable Guide, I'm showing the game listed..

As it is on my ILP. I've got a timer on the listing that says the game starts in 50 minutes....

I love NBALP. I order it every year. HD games through my cable provider, access on my ipad/phone and archives to re-watch games.

I don't do illegal streams and although $199 is expensive, for how many games I watch I feel it is easily a value. Never have had major problems. Sometimes online isn't great but that's more about the device/connection IMO.
The archives are also a really nice feature. The main reason I keep cable is basketball, particularly for the ability to record games since I am often not able to watch them at broadcast time. I'm on the verge of joining the cable cutters though, and just signing up for League Pass. $199 seems steep...but I would pay that for 3 months of cable anyways. I just worry about the games being blacked out here in Austin.

They definitely would be. Austin is Spurs town and counts as "local" for purposes of NBALP.

Thanks for the tip. Guess I will have to continue my deal with the devil (aka Time Warner).

    Same here. I love NBALP.

However, I do run into several problems each year with it. I live in Mississippi and we get Fox Sports South as our "local" broadcast....and that channel here is so unreliable. They play Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, and New Orleans Pelicans games on it. You never know which one either. The guide might say that the Spurs vs. Grizzlies game is coming on, but they'll end up showing an Atlanta game. And since NBALP blacks out those three teams for me...I might not get a chance to see the Spurs play. (They'll even show a Nashville Predators hockey game sometimes instead)

I'd say I get screwed about 5 times each year with NBALP....but it's well worth the $200.00 to me.

I was told by Comcast customer service that LP doesn't support preseason games (even though NBA.com said it does).

They are not properly informed IMO. I'm watching Bulls/Nuggets on LP right now.

Time Warner vs Comcast vs the Devil would be a fair fight imo.
