I have noticed this as well and was wondering about it (that an Aldridge not setting the best picks in the world.) He shoots a high percentage, so maybe letting him take the shot is the better move. But, if other teams figure this out, doubling him every possession could mess with his game. "He doesn't pass...so, double him every time he gets it." It's a valid point. 2-3 assists per game would be nice if he can continue that.
3 assists and no turnovers. Passing continues to improve and he did a good job out of the double team.
Can still improve but he's moving in the right direction. That 5 game judgment in the OP looks kinda silly.
You should watch his last two games... He's gotten a lot better at handling double teams, quick passes from him resulting in an easy score for others.

Kawhi is posting a career-high 26.0 usage rate and a career-high 34.3 minutes this season. Amazingly, he has all those shots and he just has 1.1 turnovers per game. In fact, Kawhi is on pace to be the first player in NBA history to play at least 34 minutes per game, have a usage rate of at least 26 and have fewer than 1.3 turnovers.
