Damn I had high hopes of Manu playing the 2003 Steve Kerr role for us and show up in playoff game.

Lets hope he can recover. But I its a testicular surgery or serious groin pull... Damn
He would be out for the season if that was the case. Probably a severe contusion and a partial rupture, which doesn't require surgery. Probably out 4-6 weeks.

Not good, not good at all... hope it's not career ending

This season IS his career, if it's season-ending. I'm not big on over-reacting, but he looked really bad after that shot last night. It may not be the end of his season, but it sure COULD be.

    Dammit.

Blessing in disguise. KA and Simmons will now get all the playing time they need to improve before the playoffs.

As long as Manu is 100% by playoff time this will be good for the Kyle Anderson and Jonathan Simmons.

    Get healthy, Manu!

He is going to miss all of the rodeo trip..really bad timing if you add Timmy knee .i just hope it doesn't speed up his regression or final decline..

Well, at least it is not a surgery/rupture really life altering issue. In the big scheme of things, he will be fine.

In the short scheme of things, he's going to be out for the toughest parts of the season and when the team emerges with an iden y.

A silver lining... hopefully the young'ones continue to get better and develop in roles that they were meant to occupy possibly next season. Life fastracked them.

Also, those teams wishing us the token injury go their wish... but we have a deep team, and the two young stars in LMA/Kawhi are still healthy. Lets hope this is it for injuries the reast of this season TBH.

Good news. More than likely a partial rupture of the testicle, which is exactly the timeframe to heal FULLY. Manu should be 100% by the season's end and the start of the playoffs.

    Blessing in Disguise.

Remember when I said I though Manu would miss 20+. I was worried that it looked like he wouldn't and would be worn out by the playoffs. Now he will be well rested and Spurs more than likely will get the beginning of the year Manu at the end of the year.

He was bound to get hurt, better it happen now than turn an ankle right before playoffs and be of no use.

Really that is my concern, that he's a rhythm player and for this injury he will really need to convalesce. He will not be in top physical shape or anything and at his age its difficult to regain your top physical conditioning, strength etc.

Thinking about that, made me realize, Patty/Simmons/Kyle/Boris/West will probably get a groove on and Simmons will probably be playing better than Manu when Manu is ready to play again, just bc Manu will not be optimal.

It is still a blow for the season even if comes back.

Surely this means Anderson/Simmons will be rotation players in the playoffs.

People need to stop with the 'blessing in disguise' stuff. This is bad news, pure and simple.

yea I have to believe that. Good thing Pop had already been giving them time against good teams and not just the token garbage time crap.

F#$%, I hope he doesn't lose one of his testicles.
Even if he loses a ball, he'll still have more balls than most men.

I believe the correct translation on that tweet is that it was more than just a simple hit to the groin, but the medical report is still expected.
then it has the hashtag #worry or rather #fear
    I'd use #afraid
