Yup! thats what ive been sayin! they got 3 guys that NEED the ball & evn Curry himself said he needs a few to warm up!
You're nuts bro. Take the highest scoring team of the last 25 years or so and replace Harrison Barnes with Durant and you don't think that team is going to bend the rest of the league over for the next 3-5 years?

Nope. Too many egos. Defense gets worse as well. You said this same exact when Lebron went to Miami.

It does seem like an unbalanced team. Ridiculously good, but their top players all do the same thing. It's why I think Klay would eventually be out the door

Barnes is a better defender than Durant.
Durant was gettin pissed off at westbrick on his bad shots & passes, they showed it a few times on National TV!

The Spurs lost their chance to sign Durant the moment they lost to OKC in the playoffs. Durant's not interested in joining a team he knows he can beat.

Durant, Curry and Thompson are all very good at playing off the ball..all 3 are comfortable as spot-up shooters, too..

Dominos is easily a better defensive player than Harrison Barnes, so that's also an upgrade..

It's nothing like Miami, where the top 2 options were redundant and the 3rd guy had to change his entire game..not to mention both Lebron and Wade weren't natural spot-up shooters..

I see it as the opposite. Won't join the team he lost to. Instead he will be their savior.

This is what everyone said of Miami. Him going to GS will guarantee a championship for the next two years at least, maybe 3 peat.
    Nothing is guarantee....

Durant on the Warriors .....Imagine that....
I would be absolutely shocked if he went there. Imo, this is a 2 horse race, SA and OKC.

Gentlemen, may I suggest this thought experiment,

WHERE IS DURANT IN THE ALL TIME LIST OF THE GREATEST PLAYERS???

    Top 15?

    Top 20?

    Top 30?

Perhaps understanding his position on that list gives us perspective.........

    Durant is no MJ, evidently.....

Losing him wont hurt that bad.

He's a scoring champ and MVP when his foot is fine. If we miss we go into next year F/A without having thrown some of the huge cabbage (green folding stuff) around that has been spent in the last couple of days and that gives us flexibility next year when there's some serious talent up.

Durant will not make the Dubs better. Do you think they will break their record for wins? Probably not, which will make for the argument that they will be worse. Basketball remains a team game, and requires role players. When everyone thinks their the alpha dog on the floor you are now playing in the YMCA. The talent would be there, no doubt. Will it mesh as a team? Only on X-box.

rant is overrated due to the nba being targeted to a demographic of 11-14 year olds.

Durant to the Warriors makes them unbeatable in any series for the next 3 years. Thats an allstar team all in their prime. Durant is a better all around player than Barnes and better shooter. All this talk of "there is only one ball" is nonesense.

"There is only one ball" is a bigger problem playing with Westbrook than it is playing with the Dubs.
