Bertans.
Jeff McDonald "Spurs insider"..
Bertans.
Murray at PG or Mills?
Dude, chill out. We weren't going anywhere this year anyway. Might as well give Manu his farewell tour (not to mention that he was still the best SG available). Just relax and let it go so that it hurts less, tbh.
I would prefer Murray.
Murray, Danny, Kawhi, Bertans, *shrug Aldridge *shrug
You have floor spreaders in Green and Bertans, the go to guy in Kawhi, the "post player" () in Aldridge, and the slasher in Murray (if he can expand on the flashes he showed last year). That's a pretty balanced lineup. And on defense, despite being a smallish lineup we still present above average length in all positions.
Then you have Patty, Manu, Anderson, Gay and Pau to crush opposing benches.
Last year was the farewell tour and those $14M were a parting gift. Now this year is truly the farewell tour and so will next year, and the year after that, and the year after that one, etc.
The shooting guard position will never be addressed as long as this scrub is on the team. It's just putting a band-aid on a giant crack on the Hoover Dam
You wanted to adress it giving a D-leaguer 10 millions per year.![]()
I never wanted to give Green 10M/yr
I wanted our best SG last year to get paid, who was on a minimum contract while 2 TOSB shootings guards were making a combined $24,000,000
Can Manu get $25M like Kome in his final season?
Kyle will get his due next summer. Calm your s.
Hopefully that causes TheGreatYacht an aneurysm, and he bandwagons to the Rockets or something, since he's such a fan of the SG position.![]()
At least someone around here speaks the truth...
I'm so sick of fans supporting team crushing decisions like keeping on Manu and Danny...
They're literally holding the team back...
Tgy![]()
You'll be bandwagoning some Chinese team next year when Fathead gets kicked off the team by BP3![]()
Tangent: Holy Manu was on a in mission in 2014..
This what defines him at this point: the little things; the intangibles; the wily vet moves, here and there--certainly not the 82-game grind performance, which is a shame but understandable...It won't stop him from giving it all, though.
One of the best posters around, right here ^
Next his fluffers will say Manu will take a reduced role..... as he continues to be the first player off the bench and a closer in crunch time
More choked free throws coming right up.
Don't forget about me. Spurs should've moved green and told manu to gtfo. Money should've gone to j simms or a free agent who wasn't 40 or one who could actually dribble a basketball.
This was a fitting end a terrible 1.5/10 offseason by PATFO. Just when you thought they couldn't possibly believe that a surrounding cast that couldn't hold on to a 23pt lead for 3 minutes was worth bringing back. The bring them back and handicap themselves in the future by overpaying those same scrubs.
Ain't nobody forgetting a Legend.
It just amazes me how people seem to forget all the terrible games or are afraid to let go.
They also won't look into the future and development.
It's not 2005 anymore....
Everyone...move the on
Spurs aren't serious about fielding a compe ive team next year, and/or are grossly incompetent.
