Damn. Good luck tp9
For me it's going to be super weird seeing him play in my backyard. I might decide to meet him just to tell him I appreciated his contributions as a Spur granted I have heard he's a diva. The Hornets make their players pretty accessible before games.
I live a few hours away in Myrtle Beach I might have to drive down for a game or two. I'll say this though, I've never heard that he's super friendly or outgoing towards fans. Although that's just what I've heard through the years, he's one of the guys I've never met personally.
But we got Belinelli back!
Best guard in franchise history and top 4 Spur of all time behind Tim, Kawhi, and DRob.
Good for him getting off this sinking ship. Now it's time to go over the wall for the Ginobili family![]()
TP not on the Spurs?? Whaaaa???
I agree I have heard the same things.
He has a better chance at getting to the Finals with this team in the East.
5 mil a season?? Wow. Salute to Tony. Thanks for the memories
Damn, that sucks
Didn't want this to ever happen, but thanks for everything Tony.
of a career in SA![]()
I've met him a few times and he's very aloof. If you speak French, are famous or have something he wants though, he will give you the time of day. Otherwise, he wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.
Smart move by TP in a season that doesn't matter with the Dubs getting away with monopolizing the league, tbh.
wonder if Danny or Patty get dealt. I got a strong feeling Gasol ain't going nowhere.
Some of the tasteless posts in this thread... ing "fans".
Tony, thank you for all the moments, the crazy drives, being the fastest player in the league for so long. You were a cornerstone of the most winningest franchise in modern American sports and enjoy the loot and then get your jersey hung, you've had your HOF ticket punched for awhile.
People who claim to be "fans" and hate one of the greatest players in team history aren't fans. The only person who has a legitimate beef against the Frenchman is Brent Barry.
Farewell Fatony
Project Spurs
The Spurs let 36-year-old Avery Johnson walk two years removed from a championship. This is just history repeating itself.
Good riddance Enrique, hated this ball hogging er for years and glad to see him go
Thanks for the memories TP! Definitely gonna be weird seeing him in Charlotte.
That is nauseating. What an absolute roster to be over the cap with. Simple Jack, some geriatric s and a bunch of ing scrubs is all we have to show for it.
Yeah I guess I will just watch him from afar when I go to some hornet games this year.
It's Nuclear Winter up in here
