Missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi may have recorded his own death, a Turkish newspaper reported Saturday morning.
Khashoggi turned on the recording function of his Apple Watch before walking into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2 , according to Sabah newspaper.
The moments of his "interrogation, torture and killing were audio recorded and sent to both his phone and to iCloud," the pro-government, privately owned newspaper paper reported. The Turkish newspaper said conversations of the men involved in the reported assassination were recorded.

For example, rather than describing warrantless body cavity searches of US citizens by Border Patrol as egregious, he describes the attention paid as "trendy."

Its not who he was, it’s what he did. This is not trendy at all. Factual Criticism of a government is considered very important by free countries. And journalist will go after these kinds of cases with great fervor and protect each other by making sure the world knows. You can read every other week/month about a journalist getting killed in Mexico if you take the time. But...
What you most likely not read about is a Mexican Journalist getting dismembered in the Mexican Embassy on US soil.

Or we could have easily intercepted what they knew outside of the embassy. There are a ton of physical structures that could be prime targets for info in Turkey. It’s not like Turkey put it all together immediately. We could have had the same facts after them and already figured it out before them.
