Fully expect him to be shut down. There's nothing more for him here. No need for him to risk injury

Damn 23/3/1/1/1 lw4 doin it![]()
at first i was upset about that last 3 point attempt by walker but then realized it was a 2-for-1
he should be shut down right away. if he can knock in 3's in the big leagues, he's primed for a 20+ minute role. basically should absorb marco's role
How well can Lonnie's skill translate to a NBA game? I remember Kyle Anderson dominated the summer league but ended up being very mediocre
anderson was a solid nba player tbh. just not good enough for us to commit 4/38.
lonnie's athleticism sticks out, and a guy with that much quickness draining pullup 2's at will should translate pretty easily.
They arent even the same type of player though.lw4 will atleast be a solid rotation piece this season ala kyle
Lonnie to Pop. “If I light it up can we shut this down at half”?
Kyle Anderson's biggest issue was confidence and being assertive. He just didn't have it in him to be an assertive guy on the offensive end. Lonnie doesn't have issues with being confident or assertive.
Walker was starting to use the threat of his offensive and move the ball to get others open shots. Sweet.
his first step is simply very fast on any level, your shot is perfect and he looks extremely strong for a 6'5 '' player, I really believe he will be a star (or more) before the end of his rookie contract
Anderson is a very skilled player. His problem is that he is slow as and is scared to shoot. Against weaker compe ion he looks amazing because his skill is so much better. But in the big leagues he's just too in slow and indecisive to be a real asset.
Walkers out here with his head above the rim. He looks like he added a lot of muscle since last year. Dude is an elite level nba athlete. If Kyle Anderson had his athleticism he might be an all star tbh
Different beasts, tbh.
Anderson had the smarts to dominate Summer League. But never had the speed, athleticism, or shooting to compete at a high NBA level.
Walker seems to be the exact opposite. His first step in NBA-level already. He has speed, hops, and can shoot...he just needs to learn the game.
You can teach basketball, but you can't change someones body. Lonnie has tools in his belt already that SloMo never had, and was never going to get.
if anderson had been a willing 3 point shooter, the spurs would have kept him
The front office better not mess up the young core of Murray White Walker. Untouchable
Walker has also been dialed in on defense this game. Walker, White, Murray, perimeter is set for years.
very translatable. He can get the shots he's hitting today in any league in the world... It's if he makes them which is mostly confidence. I don't think he has an issue with confidence. This is Kawhi level dominant in the summer league
Lonnie back to start the 2nd half.![]()
Thank god for the mute button. Cant listen to this moron anymore
hes going for 50 bruh
Agreed. Just loads of talent with those guys.
I'd like to see Murray post-injury with the big boys, but I'm not doubting him.
Now load up on the front end and this is a truly rebuilt team in 2 more years from the ground up.
A very talented team for Becky to walk into.
I'm just laughing thinking about the people on here who was bashing Lonnie earlier. He still has to get better on defense but offensively (outside of setting others up) he is ready like the few of us stated before Summer League.
I will chill for now because it's only Summer League but I honestly think it's gonna be easier for him in the regular season due to sharing the court with better teammates
