This was nothing like WWII. Sadam was a ruthless tyrant who was secular, had no ties to 911 and no WDMs. Afgahnastan is a total differnet issue, this was the right thing to do but unfortunately we couldn't see it through and catch bin Laden because our dipshyt president wanted to avenge his daddy and all the money and resources got sucked to Iraq. Nah, Hussein had been positioning himself publicly with the Islamist cause over the years leading up to the invasion. Also, regardless of whether Hussein had the WMDs, he certainly wanted them and was working the UN so he'd be free to run his weapons programs as he saw fit. There was already more than enough reason to take his ass out pre-9/11.
