    Violently breaking into the US Capitol so as to disrupt the certification of the Electoral College vote was rebellion against the US government and the Cons ution.

    It was a per se attack on the US government.
    that this all gets sanitized -- in advance, as it were, by a tender and solicitous right wing SCOTUS -- as somehow under the umbrella of official acts. how they're going to parse Trump's post-tenure stealing of above top-secret do ents, I can't wait to hear.

    disrupting cons utional approval of fifty duly certified state election returns, is an attack on popular sovereignty and duly elected officers. surely it cannot be the case now that because DJT was not punished by due legal process, no legal process can touch him now, now that our right wing, partisan judiciary defines the prosecution, merely because trump asked them to.

    the relief granted is so far beyond the question posed that it really does go to show the bias here.
