My God, what an awful quarter. No Jakob and the Spurs' defense is a layup line... No surprises here. Maybe the only surprise is how bad Young has been on defense. I haven't been watching the last few games to know if it's a trend, but he was hard to look at tonight.
Spurs have otherwise been playing a good game, though they've gone cold at the worst possible time. And mamita querida, has Lonnie lost his mojo. Can't make a single shot to save his life from anywhere that isn't a point-blank dunk. Even his pull-up midrange isn't falling, which he hit pretty good last season. Bad timing too...

This team is just kind of dumb. It is very, very clear that Vassell is the most natural shooter we have on the team and yet we don't make a concerted effort to get him shots. At this point, I'm becoming convinced the guys just aren't that bright.
When does it click in the organizations head that it can't get worse than this and they have nothing to lose and they should play the 12th overall pick?
