Naismith>Allen>Smith>Brown>Popovich
Great news. I love how this has all the fake fans, downstairs appeasing losers like Texas Ranger all bothered.
Glad to see you back posting again![]()

I liked, subscribed and sent them my life savings.
All $3.00 of it. I'm gonna street beg to send them more.
Pop, Pop, Popovich
He wants some nasty game
I saw that around the time it was released. The Spurs really were back after that and went on a finals and Championship run.
It aged well— Spurs are back again!
Maybe you should take a deeper look at your hero Trump and his husbandry skills before you start throwing shade at Pop.
I have a point to make:
Key things:
-Popovich is unlikely to sign an extension after this one.
-Obviously, Pop signed because we landed Wemby.
We have to ask ourselves the reason why he would sign after we landed Wemby.
Is it because he wanted Wemby to experience the full Spurs experience that the Big 3 went through with him as the head coach? So that he could give him a proper Spurs introduction?
or
is it because he wants to win one more championship with him?
if it is the second one, then we have to remember again that he signed for five years. That means, the timeline to win a championship (or more) is five years. Which also means, while I might buy that this year is a little more experimental, I don’t buy that it’s experimental to the degree that it’s going to cost the Spurs wins. What the Spurs do from here on out is with the goal of winning a championship within five years. Pop is compe ive like that. Wemby is compe ive like that. Let it sink in.
All the folks clamoring for “expediting the process”, well I think you’re right. It’s already happening and by next offseason I bet we will be adding key vets to this core and make an even bigger push to get more wins.

She's one of the stupidest posters.![]()
This is aging very well.
They act like he can walk on water
Welp, this thread is aging well.
Welp even I gave Greggory too much credit. I should have just seen the light like my bro Mugen.
Might go down as the worst moment in franchise history tbh. It's absolutely critical that the old man doesn't coach past next season or I could easily see Wemby walk after his rookie deal a la Shaq (and I wouldn't blame him one bit)
Such a selfish POS to keep holding the organization hostage, I really hope something forces him away from the game within the next year.
I know for a fact that in 2023 characterizing a male as a female is a serious burn. As far as internet clout goes you’re a ing legend to double down on my original sentiment. It’s a uva compliment.
If you’re not an actual boomer I’m even more embarrassed for you.
Whoa boy year 5 is going to be hard to watch. They better have learned how to turn off the mic by year 5 whenever he tries to address Spurs fans at the arena in the middle of a game.

It all makes sense now! No wonder you cry about every damn "social justice" bull you can cry about and play make believe of your "enemies" here you pathetic dumb mother er.
Cry baby !
The organization is just in a very, very dangerous spot. Any other coach would have been gone by now or at the very least in danger of being fired by the end of the season.
But Pop is very much bulletproof. Other old heads that got put out to pasture (Sloan, Larry Brown, etc.) didn't have the clout nor past success that the old man has. He's a very dangerous individual and is the single biggest impediment to the future success of this team. It'll take some type of external issue to force him out outside of his control as I don't think he'll ever give up his grip willingly.
You've identified as female elsewhere.
Is this another of your deceptive attempts?
I've said for a long time, they're not going anywhere until he's gone . . . not just in the shadows but still making decisions, but gone period.
It's past time he do right by the franchise like Sloan once did for the Jazz with a much lesser talent (Williams) than Wembanyama and gracefully bow out instead of playing a part in the demise of another (projected) superstar here.
This is the youngest team in the league and other than Wembanyama, Vassel and Johnson, the rest aren't assured of long term careers, yet they're being put in positional to not only fail, but not even function offensively. It's sapped morale and whatever confidence might have existed.
For what? The team was going to suck no matter what and their is no obvious prize at the top of this draft.
