Wesley going absolutely nuts out there
Wesley going absolutely nuts out there
There’s a sight I don’t want to get used to seeing
Castle rocking the Tatum 2s, for the sneakerheads among us
Doesn't look like HB is rocking the AJ4s in game
Edit: maybe HB is... hard to tell
Howard seems to have cooled off
Castle pushing on every possession. Drawing fouls, slowing the game down, adding points
LOL thinking Pop is playing 4D chess
Magic 17 point lead down to 3 now
Banchero over th ing back wtf ref
I see that Wemby isn't used to this many alleys. he's not expecting them hahaha
I like the fact that he's always looking to make that extra pass. I like the kid
Wesley has gotten so well trained
Catches himself before getting into mistakes
Makes the smart pass
Defends like an angry bee buzzing around the opponent
It's like Wes really studied this offseason
Wesley defense is ELITE. Need this effort 24/7
Is it just me or is the teams bbiq (on offense at least) looking so much better? Granted I only watched the last few mins.
Want to see castle play the rest of the game
A lob in a contested position? Are you talking about that first alley-oop where Paul and Wemby locked the defender in no-man's land? I made multiple posts talking about how guys like Robinson and Chandler worked with their guards to get their lobs. Like I get you're being tongue-in-cheek. But there are a lot of posters who don't understand the difference between what Victor is now and what he will be in he's actually ready to win a le. They think it's just a matter of coaching and teammates and overlook the massive personal development. The fact that Tim was already so far on that path so early is superlative just like Victor's size/skill combination.
The biggest hope this year is that Paul can help Victor internalize that he'll be his best in a more controlled and limited role where he lets his teammates do their job and trusts the offense to create opportunities. And yes, that's in dialectic with the roster improving both in terms of bringing in better talent and that talent being coached to accommodate Wemby's talent. But both horses need to pull the cart here. Yes, a guy like Paul is going to understand how to use his threat of scoring to create a lob opportunity to throw an oop to Wemby. But hopefully Paul can get Wemby to read his guards to know when to make his move rather than barreling into the paint calling for the ball constantly like he did for the first half of last season. Tonight has had some of both.
One thing we didnt see…is wemby bringing the ball up and letting his creativity flow…
not sure if its the plan - to keep wemby from making mistakes…or if wemby still not in game shape?
nice sequences there, though you kind of wish Wesley was just a capable 3 point shooter
Wesley defense was great. Castle was pretty good on the 1st half
I really do think Paul/Vassell/Castle/Barnes/Wembanyama may end up being the best starting lineup when all is said and done.
Jones/Champangie/Johnson/Sochan/Collins also seems like a decent second unit.
I thought I was the only one.
Wemby nearly on pace for a triple dub.
Probably won't play the 2nd half though.
Wesley and Sochan had me looking real bad in the 1st half. Aint no way these dudes got this good...right ?
We losing cause of rebounds....Gotta rebound better
Are we getting 2 years too late (Pau Gasol) with CP3's dribbling?
