Yeah fox is underwhelming but let’s get him a training camp and a better roster next year before we call for his head. Spurs lack talent as it is.

I just hope we don’t overpay this summer. Definitely agree fox deserves his surgery and more time with wemby. The only silver lining with his poor play is that hopefully the Spurs don’t give out a stupid contract this summer to him and something more reasonable and certainly not the max. But I doubt we’d get a bargain on the contract all things considering

He’s more than likely getting a 4-year 30% max, and despite a slow start in San Antonio (and no, he has not been trash in 70% of his games here, lol) he largely deserves it. I think there is a small chance he signs a 27-28% deal, but it’s probably going to be the max and we just need to comes to grips with it. He’s a max player in the modern NBA.

Fair points, he’s obviously looked much better than he has now for much of his career. But after Vassell would be unfortunate to have another under performing player. Maybe Vassell is gone by next year’s trade deadline if he doesn’t shape up?

Would be amazing if the lottery gods can bless us again even with a top 6 pick but I’m not holding my breath.

I'm convinced we're tanking tbh. Otherwise it makes zero sense having 6'7 Sochan guard 7'1 Valanciunas. Like you don't do that unless you're re ed or tanking tbh.

I'm not convinced Mitch Johnson isn't the former, at least as a coach.

Yea, Castle was very disappointing on defense tonight. Just low effort and physicality all around (by his standards). He gave up like 4 "and 1s", needs to recognize when he is in bad position and make the foul count instead of trying to finesse it and still catching the foul anyway.

Also, a missed alley oop and blew a dunk in the lane. His box score looks nice but should've been even better.

Watched the Kings play the Nuggets the other night w/out Monk and Sabonis and they actually looked pretty damn good for most of it. Expecting a rough one for the Spurs tonight, Lavine lit the Spurs up already this season and I wouldn't be surprised to see it again.
