The only bad thing about BB.com is Fabbs is there and he's a pedophile that shouldn't be welcomed in any community and Spurtacular is undoubtedly there lurking about. He'll expose himself sooner than later.
Other than those minor inconveniences, this place is a zombie forum. The casket wasn't locked and Canal squandered a magical community, one of the last places on the net that was a true callback to the good ole days of message board flame wars and hijynx. What a waste.

Seriously, whoever the is running this place should at least tell us to go ourselves. The silence is wild, imo. With that said, I am not leaving completely. I'll check in at BB, but I don't care how many go there, I will still hold out hope this place reclaims it's former glory.
The only way that's gonna happen is if the main contributors to the community decide to come back. And almost all of them have already migrated to BB. The season is upon us and whoever runs this place clearly doesn't care much about the community. I don't see it regaining it's former glory any time soon

Post archive?
Post archive is useless because search function doesn't even work and other four are just sentimental value noone cares about.
Imagine thinking domain name and post count is more important than having a functional forum, not only from technical, but moderation side.
I'd argue they have been doing exactly that, for over a year. Go read these threads from the beginning, and tell me what if not that is happening;

Woah I totally missed the memo on all this and just catching up with season starting up again.

I noticed the site seems to be going through some trouble lately — maybe even shutting down. I’ve been around long enough to know what this place means to the community, and I’d really hate to see it disappear.
If the current owner or admin team is open to it, I’d be happy to help in any way I can — whether that’s hosting, maintaining, upgrading the backend, or just helping keep things running smoothly for the community. I’ve got experience with server management and web systems, and I’m willing to volunteer my time to make sure SpursTalk stays alive.
If anyone has contact with the site’s admin or knows what’s going on behind the scenes, please let me know how I can get in touch or what steps would help most.
This community has been around too long to just fade away — I’d like to help keep it going.
Many others have offered exactly what you’re offering and many others have offered to put their own money behind this forum.
It all falls on deaf ears. The owner of this site does not care.
We have a great team over at Baseline Bums. Plenty of money to improve and keep the forum running smooth. Most of the community has migrated there and heaped praise on how nice it’s turning out.
I encourage you to join us over there. You will recognize all the same contributors who used to be here.

How active is it? Last I looked ST had something like 19 memebers and 10k guests on the forum and BB had 13 members and 19 guests. Is it like the same 15-30 people posting?
The 10K guests are Bots. It's literally the problem with this place. I have been here as long as you have. Even I know when no one cares anymore and it's time to move along. I had to do it with a Forum that I loved when I joined here.
Everyone that posted every good take on this place is over there. We are tired of the bull . You can sign up there and restart the same discussion you had over here. It's the same people. The only difference is the site actually runs quickly and the mobile site is perfect
