5-11 from the floor. I know TD doesn't want to force anything, but 11 shots is not helping the team. If the other team doesn't have to worry about him then it really doesn't help.

It's nice to see that after all these years coaching the Spurs, pop still doesn't have an answer for a double team on tim.
Um? He tried, and didn't get but one call... so you can shut that stupid up dude.

Horry? How has his role been too big?

The reason SA lost was Tim Duncan. His TOs and his poor play are why SA lost. Plain and simple.
horry should not be the first big off the bench. he's not as good of a rebounder or inside scorer as oberto (potentially) and nazr.

And the duncan isn't the only reason the spurs lost. the guards played horrible, both offensively and defensively.

That is not true. Loses hurt, but I dunno if you can go that far. One of the reasons SA won the le last year was cuz of Tims passing out of the double teams.

GJ to Nazr, he was the only one clicking on offense. Him and Oberto did a nice job.

Horrible offense. Parker and Duncan both disappeared.

But, keep giving us those 3's. You won't see the Spurs missing so many three's very often.

Duncan would have had more shot attempts had he not turned it over 6 times.

Barry and Finley were both 3-10 and Bowen was 1-6. NVE hit a couple shots and then had b2b ones that killed all the momentum we had. It was a 2 point game at that time and after those ill advised shots Denver went up 6.

I'm surprised we didn't foul them at the end but I guess Pop figured it was over with anyhow.

I can't stand the thought of the Mavs being able to have the same record as us after tonight. Go Portland.

Pop pissed the game away. Horrible 4th quarter overall, and no adjustment down the stretch. Not to mention the questionable lineup to finish the game. If nothing else hopefully the game knocks the rust off Brent Barry and motivates Nazr to actually show up to the games.

This was a disappointing loss indeed. Just goes to show that this team has ways to go! Seriously, sometimes this leads me to think that all this praising of the Spurs team is gonna comeback and bite us in the butt. We couldn't win a freaking game at home against a Nuggets team that had Carmelo struggling and no Marcus Camby! Oh yeah go ahead and say that we didn't have Ginobili and embarass yourself! Dallas has won both games against Denver with a crippled lineup! The Suns manage to win without Amare!

If this team wants to hold on to the le and not disappoint..... the so called super subs (Finley Van Exel and Barry) need to prove that they are indeed capable of carrying the load.

P.s. Hubie Brown kept mentioning Fin and Van Exel's contributions tonight but when I look at the box score.. I see nothing to be happy about.

It's nice to see that after all these years coaching the Spurs, pop still doesn't have an answer for a double team on tim.
They do, it's called making open shots. The Spurs got plenty of those (Barry especially) and they couldn't capitalize. Tim gave the rest of the Spurs some good looks and they couldn't hit them. Tim needs to take more shots, but it would help if Tony or NVE would just pass him the ball off the screen and roll cuz Tim's open just about every time.

Well they deserve it don't you think!? They've done very well with a crippled lineup (like i mentioned earlier) and they've contenders all season. Now that, like the 2 beatings Detroit gave this team earlier SHOULD BE reason enough to wake up and realize that a repeat would mean more than just signing players who are supposed to contribute off the bench. They need to give us that contribution CONSISTENTLY.

It's real. It's a Seahawk, more commonly known as an Osprey.

With Manu out/lamed for 2 - 3 weeks, and Spurs 5Ls behind the Pistons with only 40 games left, kiss Finals HCA good.

Spurs now struggle just to win their division.

How is it that the smallest player in the NBA (Boykins) always seems to have his best games against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA?
