I don't think Spurs fans really have a rep of crying over officiating. Personally, I don't think it was that bad last night, as long as you understand that A.I. is a star and he's going to initate contact and go to the line every single time he's touched.
Where the is Mouse? You'd think he'd be all over the Mavs' jock even more than normal.
I would agree with you Joepa to a point. Every team in every sport has a collection of fans who like to blame anyone but their own team. They blame refs, dirty play, the commissioner whatever. Sadly, the Spurs have those kind of fans as well. The majority of posters here, IMO, do not think that way. This site is blessed with a lot of very knowledgable fans who know better than to sink to that level.

I think many have, correctly, taken their cue from Pop, who as far as I can remember, never called out officials in the media. He can certainly be critical of particular calls during the course of a game, but that's quite different from suggesting afterwards that a particular call was decisive in the game. Pop gives credit to opponents who beat the Spurs and I think most Spurs fans who analyze the game and attempt to understand what has happened try to follow that lead.
AJ, as a coach, generally does the same thing, and I think largely because of the Pop influence.
Basketball games are won and lost by players not by officials.

hahaha, you are funny. unfortunately, that is a very poor comeback, because being just a fan, and being an owner is COMPLETELY different. i dont think fans can just send tapes at will to the NBA front office to fix poor officiating in the NBA. cuban may complain about officiating, and that is part of his job. however, he doesnt ever blame a loss on officiating.

no problem bro. i got nothing but respect for the spurs. i hate them, and i have my personal opinions about them, but they have won 2 of the last three les, so i got nothing but respect for them. i think since people see im a mavs fan, they think im just gunna talk crap, and be whiny or some stupid like that.
