I Was ing Saying This When We Won The Kigns Series, They Treat Dirk Like A Basketball God Lately In Dallas, I Konw--i ing Live Here

You Thin Ki Was Just Joking???

Its ing Legit, And A Very Simple Formula: If The Spurs Are Playing From Behind In Sa They Will Play From Behind Majorly In Dallas....and They Did....good Comeback, I Give Them Props, But Naturally Dirk Goes To The Line For A Game Winner, Its Natural, And The Spurs Played So ty They Could Not Overcome It.

Look, I wouldn't have a problem with it if the refs were anywhere near consistent.

But Duncan got much more contact from Diop and the hack crew that _allas calls its front line than Dirk was getting on all of the whistles he was getting. Total joke.

The thing that pisses me off the most is Dallas is sitting there like a bunch of vaginas crying about the officiating every game, and they are shooting more FTs than the Spurs every night.

What the is that about? Thank God Tim Duncan stepped up tonight and called out the stripes, I am tired of Puban and the Whiny General getting all the charity love when they cry like the Vagina Monologues every damn day.

    [/rant]
You hate that the Mavs whine about fouls, but then you are glad that Duncan whines about the refs? You can't have it both ways. And trust me, the Cuban owned Mavs are the one team the league would love to over, they aren't getting any charity love, they are taking it to the rim.

Lakerfan, I've seen you cry about the refs and how they treat the "Sterns" enough to know that you should shut the up.

And unlike candy ass zocool, I mean it.

FT disparagy is usualy more about who is the aggressor than who is being favored.

Even with your 'conspiracies' the Spurs had a chance with Stack being his usual unclutch self, and the Spurs couldn't do it.

Pop will regroup as he always does. This series is FAR from over. Have some faith in the team. They have obveously been able to overcome the opposing 15 (12+3 refs) 3 times in the past...
BULL !!!! The Spurs were just as aggressive but did not get the calls. This isnt basketball anymore, it's WWE with a ball. Dirk is a 7 foot guy who never posts and drives out of control to the basket, yet gets free throws up the ass. Horrible. This is rigged, and if you cant see it then you are blind or dumb, maybe both.

I don't complain about the refs very much, but this situation is getting way out of control.

Mavs shoot 50 free throws again? Dirk is a perimeter jumpshooter, not exactly the player you expect to get to the line (unlike Shaq or Lebron or Carmelo or Wade - or Tim Duncan)! This appears to be a trend.

Don't these refs understand the difference between regular season and playoff basketball?

That last call on Duncan is a joke. You don't make a mistake that big that late in an important playoff game.

Maybe if the Spurs didn''t WHINE about avery single call even when it is totally frickin obvious.. then you might have an excuse for complaining about calls.

The Mavs haven't complained about calls this whole series.

Breaking news the refs give a lot of questionable calls to an allstar player playing home during the playoffs...how could we not see this coming?

Mavs were a lot more aggresive than the Spurs, its the NBA, you've got to live with that.

    Alvarez-

That was a questionable call, but it was only one foul. And if you really want to dissect that call, look where Duncan's feet are............they are inside the arc.

Why is it that the biggest pansy/pussy/wussy in the nba gets so many calls when he plays with ZERO aggression and most of his playing is outside the perimeter??? Yet Timmy gets hit or hacked and doesn't get 1/2 respect the damn China Doll (damn German) does?????

    Mavs Man 41,

Just because you were a team manager for the 6th grade girls team at your middle school doesn't mean you've ever 'played'.
No, actually what i am asking is what makes you think you know so much about basketball? Some of the things that go on out there you wouldnt under stand unless you've played on a high school or collegiate level. You're probably just a casual fan who doesnt even watch untill the playoffs and you get on here acting like a big shot.

I just got home, what did he say?
He said that the call on him where Dirk stepped on his foot that there was no contact, just Dirk stepping on his foot, and it shouldn't have been a foul.

You hate that the Mavs whine about fouls, but then you are glad that Duncan whines about the refs? You can't have it both ways.
And you can't read for . What I said is that it's bull that the Mavs cry about the calls when they're already getting the benefit of the stripes out there. They're basically crying out that they're not getting treated fairly and then going out and ing raping our guys and getting away with it.

Tell me how a ing jump shooter in Dirk shoots 27 FTs, the Spurs shoot all of 32. That's bull .

    I checked the game log.

They did assess Barry, but I remember seeing Bowen grab Dirk from behind. I just figured it was him.

They may have assessed Barry because had they "called" it on Bowen, it would have been his sixth.
Didn't stop them from calling Duncan for his sixth.

I don't think that they are old, or suck, or are boring. They are a great team. But like many defending champions, they lack some hunger, the stuff that carries you through adversity. Duncan HAS the hunger. I am just not so sure some of the lesser Spurs do. No shame in that. Spurs will probably still come out with a win this series. But its going to be harder.

Don't take it so personal. I have seen some great teams not make it because of refs. The great ones can overcome them. Spurs almost did. Had Duncan (the lone superb Spur right now) been on the floor they probably would have. But the rest of the Spurs had a shot, and couldn't capitalize. So move on. Refs happen. Deal with it.
    much classier post.

i think its absolutely incredible though what happened in tonights game. i would like a highlight reel composed completely of phantom calls.

So now it's a foul when a player steps on your foot when it is inside the arc??????

Give me a break, that is hilarious though.

Does it really matter where his foot is???

We fans can't get are heads around these things, like griping about officiating. It's just something good teams have to overcome..Complaining about the refs won't win us the games. I'm sure our Kings fans posters can attest to that.
