You really have to give it up to the league. I mean, this whole fixing games thing... who knew they had the ability to make a guy like Jason Terry go 2-18...

I was at a Mavs oriented bar in San Marcos when Dwayne Wade hoisted the orange orb into the sky as the final seconds ticked off. Some of my Spurs fan friends and I had just pumped our fists at each other and an angry Mavs fans screamed, "Oh, yall are ing Spurs fans huh? Well where the are you? Where the are the Spurs?" I felt like saying, "We're in the same place you are right now, except that we have three championships and you have zero." But instead I smiled smugly and nodded. I bet my silence hurt about as much as my words would have.
@ them guessing you were spurs fans.
You should of gave them a ring count.
    spurs - 3
    mavs - never

Gotta give the Heat (ie, Wade) credit...they earned it. Down 13 with 6 min's left in game 3 was the turning point, and the Mavs never recovered. They missed a golden opportunity. They were the favorites...they had home court...they had a 2-0 lead...etc etc.

They settled for and missed too many open jumpshots throughout the series. Dirk was off. I really don't think he recovered from the elbow to the head from Shaq in game 2? He didn't go inside enough after that...

Wade will be a force for years because it's obvious that he's one of (if not THE) new poster boy of the NBA...

It was a of a season...beat the Spurs and Suns in the playoffs...both big steps for the Mavs. They'll be back in the hunt next year with valuable finals experience under their belts. Their starting line-up last night would've been the youngest ever to win an NBA le...they're not going anywhere for a while Re-sign JET, get ride of KVH...and that's probably about it...maybe a couple small changes (DA back? Daniels trade maybe?). Spurs have work to do with their bench and center position. Suns will be back with Amare...

To the posters such as LEONARD and Shank, justice/karma is a ain't it?

This feels good. All the Mavs fan got y to no avail.
I blame the City of Dallas for announcing the parade route...

AHF, angelluv, Timvp, TPark and Horryfor3,

How cool is this: The Heat celebrating on the Mavs home floor after the Mavs were up 2-0 and had a 13 point lead with 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter in game 3?

It really doesn't get much better than this.

Mavs are a bunch of dirty punks. There are not many people I think less of than Mark Cuban. Avery's complaints, justifications for his team's dirty play and failure to accept responsibility were sad and pathetic.

Mavs aren't going back to the Finals. AHF does have a point: Why didn't we go zone and stay big? The unanswered and unanswerable question.

Suns with Amare and Kurt Thomas back and the emergence of Boris Diaw make them likely to beat the Mavs. Spurs with healthy Manu, Tim and Tony are better than Mavs. Kings are about as good as Mavs. If TMac is healthy (w/out back problems) and Yao is healthy, Houston is better than Mavs.

Dirk may never try to score in the paint again after the abuse he suffered. Shaq and Zo put a hurt on him in the paint and he just couldn't take it.

Wade blocked Nowinski 3 times. Sad.

2 points from Dirk in the 4th? Shot 40 % for the series?
Oh, but he was doubled? And Wade wasn't triple teamed?

Dallas returned to the jumpshooting team we all love to see. Still no center for Dallas. Even Rasho and Nazr > Dampier.

    Mavs aren't returning.

    Justice/Karma has been served.

    Thank you, Lord!!!

That's exactly why I took the picture, the banners looked so lonely over there! They actually only have 4 hanging right now; two retired jersey's, one with the division le, not sure what the other one is.
