For the Mim, don't know who would take it. Eisley might take the mim, maybe Delk, you already mentioned Pargo.
I don't know the complete list.

Very nice.![]()
Yeah, good call.
It's pretty obvious what the Spurs are doing. If you want Beno to succeed, you can't bring in another young point to back him up. You need a guy who can come in cold and handle being a point guard if Beno stumbles on a big stage again.
Vaughn was the player that fit that mold the best. I wish there were better PG's out there but I looked thru the lists and unless you wanted to use your LLE on Pargo, Vaughn's scrubbish azz was about as good as you are going to get.
I'm not a big Pargo fan, he is too much "out of control".
My favourite was Palacio because he can play SG and he is a goot shooter.
Vaughn was second on my list.
Jacque Vaughn is a solid point.
He can play D, run the offense well, and knock down the outside jumper.
Good cheap signing.
Hopefully Butler and Javtokas are signed, and call it a summer![]()
tpark says what?
That's the plan.
If not, goodbye Beno.
Say whua? Why would they even bother? Since teams are scrambling to make it clear that they AREN'T interested in Beno he has no value. Since Jav is gone Scola's value just went into the toilet. Unless Pop has some plan to slide everyone over one position and go super small this makes no sense to me.
All Beno has to do be a solid backup is to not drop his purse coming up the court.
It's significant, but not impossible to overcome.
Except the coach doesn't seem to like him. I don't think he can succeed on this team.
I am ok with this signing. I just hope it doesn't turn into Charlie Ward redux.
He liked him enough to only sign Jacque Vaughn as his compe ion for backup point.
Point guard is a weak spot for the Spurs.
Jacque Vaughn was awesome in college, but now he basically sucks.
The Spurs are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't hate just cuz the Spurs jacked a player from your Nets.
I hope you're not saying the Nets wanted to keep Vaughn.
The real question is how are the mavs going to stop Jacque Vaughn?![]()
at least we're goin' somewhere
i like Jacque VaughnIMO, he's a tough PG.
Vaughn is 3rd or 4th backup PG depending on whether you count Brent. You're not going to get much offense out of Vaughn. He ranked 406th out of 458 players in efficiency/minute last year.
Maybe if he didn't turn the ball over every time someone got up on him defensively, he wouldn't be in the doghouse.
Other than point guard, small forward, power forward, and center, the Spurs are just fine with their depth.
