Lots of people there.
How much of the Spurs' getting it together in the 2nd half had to do with Watson? Guy had 8 assists. Good point guards are so important to SL.
Is this the same guy people are saying needs to GAIN weight.

Not a bad game for Ian.
4 points 3 rebounds 2 blocks and 2 steals in 23 minutes.
I don't think anyone has ever said that about Ian. Quite the opposite.
No, he's the guy who needs to GAIN weight.
I meant gain.
He did look thin from the video highlights I saw. He must have been quickly introduced to American food. Burgers, fries, hot dogs..... the works
His frame could easily take more weight.
he can take bulters extra 10 pounds ....
Ian won't make it, we should trade his rights.
DUDE IS 19
looks good for that age and first game in usa
Ian has some long arms...
The Spurs are going to develop him, bring him in every summer, keep a close eye on his progress, talk about him many times on the news... and then decline to sign him onto the team for the next ten years. If you're a foreign national, you have to be 30 to play on the Spurs team.
spurs have to pay him a certain amount
is he not a first round draft pick?
Yeah, he gets guaranteed money. It'll start in 10 years, when he's 30 and finally decide there's room for him.
WOAI TV was the only local news station to show video of this game. It showed CJ Watson do a nice crossover dribble to draw a double and then dish inside to Jamar Smith for the flush. It showed Ian switching off on Rawle Marshall while Melzer recovered and getting a hand on Marshall's shot, with Melzer also getting a piece of it from behind. It also showed Melzer taking a shot from the wing (with Ian and Brown battling bigs underneath), and then getting the long rebound and driving past Pavel for the two-hand dunk.
You are not going to select a great late first/second round pick every year. Unless Ms Cleo is working with the spurs, Tony and Manu type impact won't be an annual thing.
I think Ian will be a good player. He just needs more chances to showcase his talent. Potential can only get you so far. If he doesn't impress after the summer league, I doubt he will be taking more of the Spurs' time.
he's 19 if he doesn't impress he still has time to grow, it seems like y'all are expecting david robinson out of this kid.
spurs before said that he might be 2-3 years away
he does not have to look great this summer league
one more year would polish him alot
...what is so wrong with his stats tonight....its game 1 people.
It's early to ask... but does anybody feel Vaughn is really the 2nd B/U with CJ Watson still slotted as the 3rd and it's "Soyanara Beno"?
watson keeps it up
beno is gone
No. Vaughn is not good enough to be the main backup.
He backed up Kidd last year.
watson I like
he can score and play d and pass
not sure about the d because the game was not on tv
but reports are he can
IF spurs brought in watson beno would lose all his confidence and be worthless
