my current foodgasm is what I made for dinner last night:
broiled lamb shoulder chops with orange pinapple mint sauce.
the best part was suckign the marrow out of the bone.
ohhh myyyyyyyyy gooooooood. :p
I haven't had one of those in far too long.
My ex who lives in Michigan doesn't have Sonic near him. That was a must stop when he'd visit.

Gross!
Chilli Cheeseburger from Chester's
Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory
Oddly enough, those are things I've only had once. I'm almost afraid to have them again and then them not being as good as I remember.
Oh, and Papa John's cheesesticks with the garlic butter sauce. Gotdamn.
Ew, that's gross.
I have this thing with eating meat off a bone ... can't do it.
That ice cream cake sounded nice!
I love picanha com alho, although only rarely do indulge myself.
If you like ice cream but are into counting calories, the slow-churned ice cream (half the fat) from Dreyer's is very good...try the French Silk...mmmmm. I actually like their slow-churned better than their regular ice cream. The Diet Blue Bell homemade vanilla is very good, too, and Hershey's chocolate syrup is low-fat - the two together are killer.
I don't like game-y meats at all ... the only thing I like from a deer, though, is jerky ... and sometimes the sausage, but I've had some of that that was gross, too.
Lately, I have been eating a lot of crunchwrap supremese. If not a cs, it has been a double cheeseburger from Mcdonalds.
brisket from rudys smothered in bbq sause
Yes, that, too...
I'm a carnivore.
OI like big juicy steaks, tender falling off the bone with runny fat and yummy gristle.
oh yes deer is good. :p

my fav meats in order.
Yup, I don't think there are actually any in Michigan, but we get those damn commercials for them all the time. I have never eaten at one, and from what you say, I guess it is better that I don't know what I am missing.
?????? Why? Their food tastes great, is no higher in calories than other fast food places (lower in calories than some). They have some excellent toaster sandwiches. And about a thousand drinks you can choose from, great fruit slushes and ice cream slushes for the summer. I love Sonic.
Yeah, that is what I am saying. I'd probably be jonesing pretty bad for some of their food if I had tried it before, but since there isn't one anywhere close to me, it is probably for the best that I have never eaten there, so I don't what what I'd be missing.
I really shouldn't have read this thread because I'm currently on a health kick.
But there's nothing like hot freshly made doughnuts, IMHO.
Bluebell homemade vanilla isn't too bad either.
Aaah!
Sonic is in the yellow states:

I have eaten at a Cajun restaurant in Ft. Worth called Razoo's. They have something called "Chocolate Mountain" or something like that. It was a huge brownie with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce. Two of us would get one and share it...no way I could eat one of those by myself (especially after downing a delicious shrimp po'boy! and a pile of Razoo's curly fries) without being sick. That thing was yummy.
The closest Sonic that I know of to me is in Bakersfield, roughly 120 away.
I guess they fear the compe ion from In-'N-Out.
If they did enter the greater L.A. market, they'd OWN In-'N-Out.
In-'N-Out is drastically overhyped.
Sonic sucks compared to In-'N-Out.
The only thing good at Sonic is chili dogs and slushes. The burgers are horrible.
