Who's pessimistic? Teams are not world apart. Slovenia has to be on a continual rise. And we are climbing apparently from ... There is just so much to do. Slovenes have to be worried.

I will say one thing very Spurs related about the game. Anyone who watched it knows that the reported claim from the Spurs FO that Scola can't play alongside Tim is bogus. I didn't buy it before as the reason Scola isn't in SA and I buy it even less now.

Did YOU watch the game? Scola has a really nice jump shot and ABSOLUTLEY does NOT need the ball in the same spots as Tim to score- like the Spurs have claimed. Even people close to the Spurs admit that Scola's not being in SA isn't about money or his basketball skills.
Why do you seem to have such a difficult time knowing that the Spurs spew out PR. Every business does. I just have enough sense to examine it and decide for myself if it is valid or BS. Things thay have said about Scola for now two seasons are pure lies-- from the sudden claim last summer that his buy-out was $14 M to the reasons they haven't signed him. Fans have been anxious to see him in a Spurs uniform and the FO has to come up with some reason for him not to be here that they think fans will buy. Are you really that naive that you think everything the Spurs says is true? Have you ever listened to Pop blatantly lie through his teeth on the Pop show? People think it is cute to call it CIA-Pop, but it is lying nonetheless, and the Spurs do it all the time.
What I wonder is-- why YOU are always the person to come in and defend the Spurs NO MATTER what they say or do? And why does your tagline say "ss&e owns me" if you aren't connected to the Spurs?

It looks like Rasho feals that he lost his job with Spurs because of Oberto and Scola. He played with great passion and determination to prove his point. Pitty that the others didn't follow his lead. Slovenian guards are hanging on to the ball for much too long (Lakovic and Becirovic) and they don't play any defense (Beno included). Slovenian coach has a lot of head scratching infront of him to figure this one out.

No, Spurs claim is absolutely true. If Tim plays PF, Scola cannot play along unless you cut his entire jumpshooting game off. Scola has to be ready to do something like that. Oberto has to be ready to do something like that to his teammate. Manu has to sacrifice his friend. And even Timmy wouldn't want to change too much.
We all have to wait to see. It's lying, but thats what makes the sports go round.
Obviously the Spurs don't think he's good enough to pay 3-4M/year, whether it's beside Tim or behind him.
