I wasn't going to reply but people don't seem to get it. The claim was that Tim Duncan did a skit mimicking Croatians. If you don't understand that, then I don't know how else to explain it. She did not CALL Tim Croatian- she said he was making fun of them and someone making fun of another ethnic group is offensive. He can make fun of his "own" all he wants but you don't make fun of the ethnic group of others. I also doubt that Croatian Catholics would be too happy with the notion of a shamam representing them.

All she had to do was say that she made a mistake and did not mean to imply Tim Duncan would do something that racially offensive.

Actually, you don't seem to get it. This is what she said.

Ploto, your reaction implied that Shamans are unworthy of being associated with Croatians (even accidentally), and my reply is that Shamans are no worse than Croatians. Its not like someone said a "croatian fascist" or a "croatian bigot" or a "croatian crook" or a "croatian murderer" etc.

and as far as my knowledge of history, and note that I understand you know more on this particular subject than I, but I do know a lot of bad things have happened in Croatia in the last 50 or so years, including genocide. I think you'll be hardpressed to find shaman's involved in anything too gruesome, at least in the last century or so.
