Something just dawned on me.........why would you post a picture of someone else and then say "look at that boss"? Seems kind of gay.
I think he's in the picture, just not the focus of the picture (IIRC< there's somebody off to the right).

So not only is he the third-string kicker, he's not even important enough to have anybody take pictures of him. Well, except for that one of him riding a farm animal.

David, since I know you broke into tears last night, I have but one phrase for you.

    "Yakety yak, don't talk back."

If that's the case, then it's even funnier. He couldn't find a single photo of himself so he had to find one of someone else but happened to have him halfway cut out. Oh man, that's good stuff.

You know, when I look back on all the good times I had playing college ball, High School ball, little league, etc. The one thing that sticks out to me is the time I spent playing JV my freshman year of high school............................................ ..............

Seriously though, I'm nearly positive our kicker was gay.

The thing that throws me off about the national rankings is that they have teams like Southlake Carrol and Euless who are #2 and #3 in Texas, and have Lufkin who is the top ranked team in state missing...also Smithson Valley who is #7 in state is ranked #20 nationally, but for some reason North Shore and Katy are ranked higher them they are but dont appear.

I can only imagine that these are very flawed. I think that a lot of the rankings are done based on reputation and very little research is actually done to determine if these rankings are accurate.

Just curious, do you have to watch much film of other JV teams in order to succeed as a kicker?

Come on, johnsmith. Haven't you been listening? Playing high school football is hard. I'm sure that becoming engrossed in film study of opposing JV teams is only one of the many requirements that a boss, multi-positional, sub-varsity player has to endure in order to succeed on the field.

For instance, there's the issue of getting that scout team jersey over your pads when you're already wearing them. And there's that whole quandary about being sure you aren't stuck with just water at the break, but get some gatorade as well. To say nothing of the issue of making your practice gear (and sometimes even your game gear) look like you've done something so the ladies don't wonder if you're on the team or not. Rubbing grass and dirt into your practice pants takes time and patience if you're going to make it look real.

This is a very important thread -- let's stay on topic and not ask ridiculous questions like that one, okay?

You're right, my bad...........so, norcal, did you see Rackers miss that field goal at the end of the game? You're going to want to avoid that.

Fillmoe, I know we've had our differences but dude, I can't take your posts seriously anymore because of the damn signature. I request Fillmoe be allowed to remove that signature as something gay as that doesn't belong in the NFL forums. Make him use a Chargers sig or something.

Norcal, whats it like to go to a school where people go to see the marching band more than they go to see your football team? And how bad do the band geeks bully your JV guys around?

  13. #138
    Now, guys, stop it.

David already cried his eyes out in another thread about the I give him, he certainly doesn't need any more.

  14. #139
I'm totally on his side, JB. I played high school football and remember how hard that is. I mean, it's really, really hard. Really.

You guys should stop giving NorCal so much crap.

I bet there's a newspaper at James Logan High that covers the exploits of David's game-winning kicks.

We would have won 14-12 had you not missed that extra point. I really need to get my starting kicker back.

I'd help out, coach. But I'm rollin with the big ponies now. so I couldn't care less about a football team that plays on Mondays. No way I'd miss Prison Break for that sorry ass squad.

I wouldn't be talking that much smack if I were you. I read that you've been missing some extra points for the big boy team -- if you don't get that stuff corrected, you're going to end up missing Prison Break or at least end up watching NorCal do your job. I mean, you can't help the club if you're forcing that offense to go for 2 all the time.

During the first quarter, Logan quarterback Matt DiPietro threw a pass to Julian Monsalud which resulted into a touchdown for the Colts. Logan kicker . . . coming back from an injury, attempted to kick the extra point, but failed.

The Colts weren’t content with the score 6-0; during the second drive, Logan wide receiver Wesley Hicks scored another touchdown for the team. After the touchdown they successfully performing a two-point conversion, bumping up the score to 14-0 by the end of the first quarter.

By the way, I don't care what all of you trolls say -- congrats to NorCal.

I remember how hard high school football is and any time you can get a win, it's something to celebrate in a big way.

'll fix. Just been a little off lately. NorCal on the other hand. He'll be on the Varsity until graduation.
