It's kind of pathetic. There are Jazz players grabbing offensive boards between 2 Spurs. Okur grabbing boards right over the top of Elson, and Oberto.

Earlier I saw Beno moving up toward the basket, didn't seem liked he liked the shot he was going to take and passed the ball to Oberto( I think). Oberto looked for a shot and passed the ball to Manu(I think) and Manu didn't like the shot and passed it back to Beno who actually made the basket due to being in a better position. Did anyone see that play?

John Wooden claimed to have done lots of work on this and claims banking it is better. Bill Waldo used to bank the same shot only much closer like 8-12 feet. Billy Walton and the '86 Celts. Must see t.v. for those that have espn classic.

It might be better if all his shots were from that angle, but I think having to adjust for straight on shots (like the top of the key) and freethrows and then the bank which has to be shot with a different spin, diferent arc everything makes it not worth it. It's like having to learn and adjust 2 shots instead of one.
