IIRC, she lost the weight really quickly and I don't think an OTC diet pill would do that, pre-ephedra ban or not.

I also think she had some facial work done recently. She looked different.

ephedra is VERY effective. I remember waaay back when Anna was huge and she got on a radio station in Houston. Well this radio DJ from there had been taking Trimpsa back when it had ephedrine in it. And he lost weight VERY fast, he was a big guy to begin with. but he dropped it fast, because of Trimspa. well on that radio interview he suggested it to her, and she was all offended and stuff, but he said he wasn't trying to call her fat and stuff, he just wanted to help and share his story to her. I'm guessing that's what started this whole thing with her taking Trimspa and back then it had ephedrine. and basically reports were that she didn't do it very healthily. it really surpresses your appe e and I believe she only ate a few pieces of fruit a day... i dont believe she had gastric bypass. but i do believe she had plastic surgery after she lost the weight

It's sad when anyone as young as she was dies. She was 39 and had a whole lot of life yet to live. As far as I know she never harmed anyone. I feel sorry for her.

I used to take ephedra and it didn't make me drop fast at all. But then again, I took it very cautiously. I still don't think that's how she lost all her weight. Interesting, just got back from summer break and saw this thread. Coincidence? I'm sure I don't have to explain what I think of this woman dying, ask Danyo, he knows. The had it coming a mile away. Many questions arise surround the sad death of Anna Nicole Smith, but a few things are known.

- The former Playmate checked in to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Monday.

- Smith, who had stayed at the resort before, was accompanied by her lawyer and "boyfriend" Howard K. Stern.

- Anna's daughter, Dannielynn, five months old, remained in the Bahamas, where seem had been residing. The infant was under the care of the mother of Shane Gibson, a high-ranking Bahamian official who is a close friend of Smith's.

- Another lawyer for the blonde, Ron Rale, revealed that smith hadn't "been well the past few days, she's had cold and flu symptoms."

- Anna's private nurse discovered her unconscious in her hotel room Thursday afternoon.

- Smith's bodyguard unsucessfully tried to revive her body.

- Paramedics who arrived at the hotel administered CPR, in addition to inserting a tube in her mouth to facilitate breathing.

- The streets were shut down by local police to get Anna to the nearby (three miles away) Memorial Regional Hospital hospital faster.

Wow, wether she was a good person or bad, She passed before she could make amends if she intended to, I don't think that's worthy of you people spitting on her grave.
She left behind a 5 month old, who is at no fault for not having a mother now and not having a definitive father.

Some of you say drugs, I personally feel the Trimspa might have done something to her, She claims to have lost 60 something pounds due to diet pills which are NEVER safe. She had fever/cold etc.. the nights before.

Guess we'll have to wait for the autopsy.
