Nice win by four points over a bad team. Dirk being out is not an excuse if this is such a great team. Looks like quite a few of your players played quite a few minutes tonight to barely pull off a win. Avery really only used eight players tonight, where is that deep bench that has been bragged about so much? I still stand by my opinion that most of the playoff teams are coasting against bad teams and only get up for the playoff teams. Except for the Spurs tonight who killed the Sonics.
Says a guy who's team barely beat the WORST TEAM in the NBA tonigth lol. Nice try homer

is my name bengordonlooms? and im a basketball fan..... my team aint doing right now.... why cant i root for other teams i would like to see win the le? get outta here with that bull ......

says the guy who started the bull ....i root for the knicks and mavs, nothing wrong with rooting for two teams but don't call out someone just because of their avatar and then act like you don't do the same with your mouth. your name might not be bengordonlooms but your talk about the bulls whenever the kings lose is hilarious. besides, maybe that's amarelooms' shtick to throw people off, just like your shtick is to be an ass to everyone and anyone.

Maybe somewhat true, the Mavs have struggled a bit of late, However, how can you realistically say missing Dirk is not an excuse? If the Suns were missing Nash or Amare, you would definitely use that as an excuse. Look the Mavs won on the road without their star player, whether by 1 or 2 or 3 or 40 points, it's not a bad accomplishment.

Nice wins by five points over the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE Suns fan. The Grizz were also without Mike Miller and Damon Stoudamire. Nice, nice win. I'm really impressed. Sacramento is much better than Memphis. I believe your MVP candidate suited up tonight. Ours didn't. Anyways, enjoy getting your asses handed to you by Messrs Duncan and company. Tis a pity we won't be meeting up again.

Who's using Dirk as an excuse? Two guys played big minutes, 1, 2. Two other guys played over 30 min, everyone else played, 21, 21, 22, 23 minutes. Who else did you expect to play? Kevin Willis is signed but not ready to play. Pops Mensah Bonsu was not in uniform. Dirk was not in uniform. Mbenga is out for the season. So really, the only guy that saw zero minutes is JJ.

You guys would've lost tonite to Memphis without Nash. And should you make it that far, which you won't, but if by some miracle you can get to the conference finals, I look forward to watching the little Nash rambler run out of gas again. He sure looked terrible in Game Six last year...the "runnin' and gunnin'" Suns were gasping and wheezing for breath and walking and crawling in that game. Too bad D'Antoni rides his core seven guys way too hard. It'll cost you in the end. Book it!

We're not the ones that brought it up are we? Funny Suns fan say..."I'm not impressed with the Mavs win, we all know Dirk was missing but you guys had to play your other starters too much". Look in the mirror...you guys barely beat a worse team missing key players lol. You can try and spin it but it's the facts. Pot calling the kettle black...classic lol

Oh, also I was so impressed with your two point wins over the Bucks with quite a few of their players out and against the Knicks with quite a few of their players out. Every team goes through these type of games. I call it boredom against the lowly teams, doesn't make the Suns or Mavs a bad team just human.

You might try looking at the thread started by Ponky about the Suns playing the Grizzlies on this board. I think you will find who started it there.

I sure hope so cause that means the Mavs will have a great shot at getting to the finals again. Mavs can beat the Spurs easier than they can the Suns All about matchups

don't forget, while mentioning their TWO players out, dirk was out the entire second half and part of the second quarter...not an excuse mind you, because WE won, just tell the whole story

Hey, you picked this fight, troll, I'm going to troll back. Now you want to resort to qualifiers and "Hey, they're both good teams, they just had an off-night"? Too late. Maybe Steve Nash should've followed Gilbert Arenas' example and gotten himself an oxygen tent to sleep in too. If the Suns are still alive in the conference finals, he'll be like me after 30 minutes on the treadmill. If the season lasted 60 games instead of 82, I think the Suns would be the hands-down favorites. Nash has broken down in the playoffs six years running. This year will be no different. He's also at a career high in MPG with 36. Nothing left in the tank come early June. Mavs in six over Phoenix, Mavs-Spurs is a tossup. I guess I'm actually rooting for Phoenix to beat San Antonio. They'll be an easier mark.
