Kitna isn't "horrible" you can get a developmental QB in the second round.
Kitna can still throw down the field, he could get it to Williams and Johnson easily.

That defensive front line is aging, you can never have enough good lineman.
Plus, like with Detroit, there are QB prospects later in the draft that could develop, and you've got a good stopgap in Jeff Garcia for a couple years.

Find a young QB later in this draft. There are good QB's there in the 2nd round. Kitna will get you some wins over the next year or 2. Quinn will lose more games than Kitna next season.
Lions did that with Mike Williams. At one point in the season, the backup quarterback had more catches than he did.
oh, i think they should go Defense. I just want them to take Quinn so that the Broncos have more Defensive options if they make that trade for the 10 pick. Selfish reasons for me wanting them to take Quinn.

Different kind of draft. At best, Mike WIlliams was going to be a good possesion receiver. He wasn't a top 10 talent. Johnson is a different kind of beast entirely. He's #1 on EVERY draft board.

If I'm the Cards, I have to move from this pick. The only players that justify the money from this pick are AP and Quinn. They need neither.
