Is Mel a guy or a girl??? And I can never tell if it likes the Rangers or Boston. It seems to like Boston but is a Rangers fan. And were 6 games back from Boston. I'm starting to wonder if its too late or not. Hopefully we can sweep vs KC and Boston splits with the Orioles. We would be 4 1/2 out with 1 more series each before we play each other in Fenway. After the Boston series we should know if we have a chance or not. Either way I think both teams will make it and October is all that matters.
    I doesn't matter.

We'll take the Wild Card and kick their asses in the first round.

Well they didnt split with the O's but they lost 2 out of thier last 5 games.

Now hopefully we can sweep the BlueJays. and Boston can lose 1 or 2 more games. At least we wont have to face Holliday.

Were 4 out in the loss column and a HUGE Series at Fenway this weekend.

And yea peewee. We will beat them in the playoffs if we face them. Cant wait til October when we win 27 in 07.

Should be a good race to the end. This series is gonna be huge, and I will be watching.

And yes, I am a girl. And I do follow the Red Sox, hate the Yankees and am a tried and true Rangers fan. I just love baseball period, though. Since the local Double-A farm club is now a Padres affiliate, I might make the Pads my NL favorite. I like the Brewers, too from the NL though I don't follow them like I do AL teams.

How does one like multiple teams. That makes no sense to me?

I am a Rangers fan. Part of being a Rangers fan means that you have nobody to cheer for in October. So, I pick teams to cheer for. For this reason, I like the Red Sox and Brewers and starting to warm up to the Padres. I am not sure what's so hard to understand about that.

Ohhhhhhh, so you are a bandwagon fan. I get it now. For me, its the Cards, every year no matter what. No matter when the season ends, I still watch in October. You don't have to have a rooting intrest to enjoy watching baseball You just have to be a fan of the game. But you are a Bandwagon fan so that makes perfect sense. Thanks, thanks for the clarification.

How is being a Rangers fan being a bandwagon fan? There is no Rangers bandwagon and if there was, I suspect that it would be fairly empty. You make absolutely no sense when you say that.

I do love baseball. , I am going to a minor league game tonight. And no, I don't need to root for someone to watch the post-season, I watch every game and there were plenty of series last year where I had no vested interest in either team. I have no interest in the Cards or Tigers but you bet your ass I watched every game of the WS.

But hey, if belittling me in yet another thread makes you feel like a tough guy, go right ahead and say what you want. Your constant need to post things that are inciteful rather than insightful gives you zero credibility.

Calm your ass down. I never said being a Rangers fan makes someone a band wagon fan. But you are saying you root for the Rangers(primarily), Redsox, Brewers, and now the Padres. Thats being a bandwagon fan wether you like it or not. Jeez you are a prime example of why I hate talking sports with girls.

So you are you saying you wouldn't react if someone called you a bandwagoner? This has nothing to do with gender. I don't understand why my gender is such an issue with some of you here.

LMAO @ not talking sports with girls. Well I dont have a problem talking sports with Girls who know stuff. Rather then girls who like teams because of "hott" guys that play on them. And LOL @ Bandwagon talk. Mel was hinting at me being a bandwagon fan I'm sure. But I dont really care what people online think of me. People who have known me my whole life know what I am. But I understand what Mel is talking about while rooting for teams. When The Yankees get eliminated I usually just root against Boston or Chicago. And then sometimes I root for other teams. I'm a fan of baseball as well. Football is my main sport.

and them stupidass Devil Rays. Damn they suck. They cant even hold an 8-1 lead.

    oh well.

Glad Toronto won last night. Now Boston has a 5 game cushion in loss column. I am not confident with Matsuzaka pitching tonight at all. He needs to be sat down for a week, as he is showing serious signs of being worn out. He has never pitched this many games or innings in one year, not even close and he has been getting hammered the last month. I would pitch Clay Buchholz in his place for one start.

I think NY will win 2 of the 3, because w/o Manny and suspect starting pitching, I think Boston is vunerable, even at Fenway.

True. I was never good in spelling. Its all the same to me. And Holliday has been hitting HRs all week so maybe I have him on my mind.

    And Crazy weekend at Fenway.
    Captain Clutch Delivered again.

Boston lost today and the Yankees are winning.

It could be down to 3 in the loss column with about 2 weeks left.

And I thought football season was stressful for me(since I'm a broncos fan) But damn the AL East will go right down to the wire probably.

I think everyone knew the Yankees wouldn't go down easy.

Heres to an ALCS Matchup reguardless of who wins the division.

The Red Sox are only 1 game up in the ing loss column. UNACCEPTABLE! I am amazed the Yanks despite a tough year with injuries and all are this close. The most important thing for the Yanks is getting that wildcard spot at worst case. They have 10 games left in their season. I dont see them missing it. If they manage to win the division, the red sox should be ashamed of themselves.
