God damn, the Spurs could have actually won a le in the early 80s. But then they probably wouldn't have had D Rob, and subsequently, maybe not Duncan either.
I'm 99% certain it was Alvin Robertson.

Good answer...I bet you're right. Lambeeir was gonna be my last guess but I think he was out of the league by the time Shaq was around...
They were close even without those guys....
If you think that was some nice drafting..the Virginia Squires actually had Dr.J and the Iceman...
Sorry - just got back from my game.
It was Alvin Robertson that nutted Shaq. He caught a right hook for it that grazed his face in typical NBA fight fashion.
But Ice was not that good then cuz he was a forward on that team and he only got good when he shifted to guard.
And yes, I think it was Bill Lambeer, I am almost positive. Was Alvin even on Detroit when Shaq was in the league?
Damn, I leave and come back and I miss this thead.
More questions, please.
I guess I'll throw one out there. Which current player associated with the Spurs played with LeBron James when they were in high school?
And you are wrong. It is Alvin.
No clue on the Q timvp.
Yes it was Sato.
They are both from Ohio.
Then it has to be Johnson
Dallas and Houston are in a good game in the 4th on TNT
It can not be Wilks, he is too old.
There is no correct answer
On the Spurs???
Dude isnt playing with the Spurs right now - he is with the organization. Other than that, I have no clue.
I'm back ya'll. ShoogarBear was correct on the other 2 Boston Celtics to play MLB.
Chuck Connors of TV Rifleman fame
Gene Conley - RHP who played for the Red Sox and I think the Indians. He was actually very good. He was an MLB All-Star 2 or 3 years.
