I understand that but the original character is a brunette you can check every comic book with her in it and she is never a blonde including her very first appearance in the 40's
they were following the 'Returns' continuity in Batman TAS but in Batman The New Animated Series they turned her hair to a brunette again
I think they even did an episode wear she found out that the brand of blonde hair color she used was tested on animals and with her being an animal rights activist in the cartoon she ditched it and went back to her natural brunette/black hair color

At the Comic Con junket for WhiteOut Kate Beckinsale dropped the bombs that she is interested in the CatWoman role in the next Batman movie which frankly scares the crap out of me. I dont think I can handle her in latex... its just way to hot! She said she wants the role because
"... I have a thing for black latex....
She also went on to say that she was a big fan of Mic e Pfeiffer and her portral of Catwoman.
"I think Mic e Pfeiffer was such an awesome Catwoman. I’d have to give it some serious consideration.”
She was at the junket to talk about her new film WhiteOut. Kate Beckinsale has been set to star in and Dominic Sena has been set to direct the action thriller "Whiteout". The film will be the first to go into production under Joel Silver’s newly reorganized Dark Castle Entertainment, which gives Silver an autonomous role in green-lighting and financing films produced under the banner. "Whiteout", which is based on Greg Rucka’s 1999 Eisner Award-winning comic book miniseries of the same name.
In "Whiteout", Beckinsale will star as Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, whose investigation of the continent’s first murder draws her into a shocking mystery. Now, with only three days until winter, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer.

A full report on the first look at Christopher Nolan’s Batman sequel including the Joker, the Batpod and…Two Face?

Minutes ago, the capacity crowd at Wizard World Chicago was treated to the first look at “The Dark Knight” – the much anticipated sequel to fan favorite “Batman Begins.” With actors Christian Bale, Gary Oldman and Aaron Eckhart on hand along with Nolan and screenwriters Jonah Nolan and David Goyer, DC Publisher Paul Levitz led the crowd through a spirited and secretive Q&A before getting to a sneak peek at the Dark Knight’s most recent on-screen battle with his arch nemesis, The Joker.
Fans were only allowed to see it once, and while it might be some time before the footage will be released to theaters across America, Wizard Universe was on hand to witness the action and give a full report.
The footage started with a silhouette of a dark figure in front of one of Batman’s armored vehicles before quickly cutting to Bruce Wayne and Alfred delivering the brief lines heard in the “Dark Knight” teaser trailer.
“Some people just want to watch the world burn,” advises Alfred before the camera jumps to Batman in action on the Batpod, the new iteration of his motorcycle.
The action built up as the Joker was seen in full for the first time with a mess of white face, smeared red lipstick and sweaty, straggly green hair. Apparently, the clown prince of crime gets arrested at one point in the film, as the montage presented Jim Gordon (complete in SWAT gear) at the Joker’s booking, saying, "no prints, no ID, custom clothes, no tags.” The clown smiles with what appears to be blood over his face from the inside of an interrogation room.
Checking back in with Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy has a brief scene with Eckhart’s Harvey Dent where he says “Rachel’s told me everything about you.”
“I truly hope not,” responds Wayne.
The footage sped up at that point into an intense montage of action, featuring the following clips:
- The new batsuit rising up from a trap door in the ground and held in a chain metal case.
- Rachel Dawes (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal) close to an unidentified man either kissing him or being threatened by him as the camera rotates around them.
- The Joker and Batman battling in close quarters (possibly a hospital room). Batman throws Joker over a table and crashing into the ground while the clown smiles at him. It should be noted that the Joker was done up in his signature purple suit.
- Plenty of big, bold Batmobile action including a shot where the tank-like car drives through a wall of flame. In fact, flames were pretty much everywhere in the footage as it appears Joker does actually make the world burn.
- There is also a shot of a somewhat grim-faced Joker walking across a city street mercilessly firing a machine gun as well as a television close-up of the Joker laughing hysterically.
- Two major additions to the speculation that Two Face will appear in the film came in the form of a single shot of a spinning 50 cent piece and the final image: after the action montage has slowed down, the camera cuts to a bartender looking at Harvey Dent, whose only onscreen presence is his left shoulder and a bit of a reddish-purple scarred neck. “Dent! I thought you were dead!” the man gasps, to which Harvey replies, “Half.”
and it has been confirmed that the actual Trailer for the film will premiere in December with WB's 'I Am Legend' starring Will Smith this makes sense now with The Joker marketing site "See you in December" Keep a look out for the WWC footage to be bootlegged on youtube even though Security searched everyone before entering the panel

I don't think its going to leak......it was very private and forced by the studio, so I think they took the neccessary precautions.
Besides we'll get to see a trailer in December...there's still about 10 weeks left in shooting (they've been shooting since May and April too, anyone else find that weird?)
Supposedly the Joker will have a Texan descent and accent.....lets all pat ourselves on the back if its true!!!! When we are not raising women who drown and kill their own kids and husbands, we are raising psychopaths!

Looks like the Jokers gash smile isn't apparent in one of the pics....or maybe its just really hard to see......
these are leaked photos which i'm sure someone will get fired over....but hey....they are out. the studio and movie makers are still going to make millions so don't feel too bad for them.

GEEZ you might want to remove that link Kermit Warner Bros is ordering a CEASE + DESIST on all internet sites that host the images or even post a link to them someone from inside did this and they (WB) is investigating it right now they are threatening to cancel all marketing campaigns they had in store for the coming months including the 'see you in December' site with the full trailer in addition WB is scouting out all sites that has links or the pics and they will send a threatening legal action e-mail to the owner of the sites they have done this already to superherohype, ain't it cool news, and others
I took it down, but come on...They're not going to cancel anything. Canceling the marketing would completely the movie and that's the last thing they want to do. Besides, all the fanboys have been jerking off to those leaked pictures. They're a success.

Yeah you may be right about that no doubt that the marketing sites have cost WB some serious dough they are pissed at people and or fans linking and spreading the pics over the net this was their fault in the first place with the inside job but they don't appreciate people ignoring their request if this whole "leak" was unintentional you gotta feel for Chris Nolan and company they were trying real hard to keep a lot of the film secret only showing bits to a small group of people (Wizard World Chicago) though their is still a lot of stuff kept secret (two face) so this by no means has ruined the experience for me I will still be the first in line to see this

OK so I have some small and some BIG news concerning 'The Dark Knight' I guess I will start with the small first
If you were one of those that was fortunate enough to get a peek at the leaked pics and if you were are one of those nitpicky types (which I don't blame you for being I am one myself
OK Now comes the BIG NEWS or I should say the BIG SPOILERS WARNING THIS IS HUGE THIS IS ONE OF THE MANY "Ra's is Ducard" type spoilers I even made it to were you have to highlight over the text for those that may not want to see the SPOILERS
First let me say I was fortunate enough to get this info from a "very reliable source" who has proven them self to be right about certain information I won't go much more into it than that I will say that one of the SPOILERS may not come to some as such a shock depending on how much you know about the Batman characters it MAY OR MAY NOT RUIN THE MOVIE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU
Here is the first Twist
The Joker has permanent WHITE SKIN he applies fleshtone makeup to his skin and then adds the clown makeup on top of that, Why? who knows apparently that is apart of the twist it could be because he is just ing nuts but knowing Nolan there is more to it than that
rumor has it that Joker uses the flesh makeup so he can use fake Jokers to fool people. Just like he did at SCC (San Diego Comic Con). He wants people to see flesh color under the White makeup, hence the sloppy applying. That way if they capture someone they wont just rub off the makeup and see they are flesh toned and know it's not "The" Joker.
The second Spoiler is a BIG ONE....to some
JAMES GORDON DIES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT GORDON GETS KILLED OFF....
Lt. James Gordon has a young son I would say around five years old he also has a wife Barbra Gordon (no not Batgirl) played by Melinda McGraw, of The X-Files fame. Melissa Scully is Commissioner Gordon's wife there will be a scene in which the police tell Barbra that Gordon is dead....she blames Batman for it I guess this early in the film
I would say around halfway through the film..............GORDON IS BACK! He fakes his death and only him and Batman are in on it we as the audience are fooled into thinking he is dead they really make us beleive he has been killed until Gordon comes back with a Bang I guess Batman and Gordon do this in order to protect Gordons family I guess like a temporary witness protection program
If you are a fan of Gary Oldman like me you are going to LOVE him in this James Gordon is going to be a badass cop in TDK and I don't mean badass as in he is going to start swearing and all I just mean badass as in he is going to really help Batman out against the Joker and GO's performance is going to really make us stand up and cheer because I have a feeling we will also LOATHE The Joker so to see Gordon help take down the Joker will be awsome
an insider has said that they have already filmed the BIG chase sequence in which The Joker delivers a memorable line here is how the sequence will play out
Batman and the Joker face off during a wheeled confrontation. Batman, riding the Batpod, shoots and hits the Joker’s Van with two rockets. Simultaneously, one of the Joker’s Clowns makes a direct hit to the Batpod. Batman is thrown from the cycle in the explosion and lands in the street. One of the Clowns grabs Batman and is thrown back by a shocking jolt from the Bat’s electrified belt. The Joker kicks and spits on his Clown Henchman after approaching Batman himself. He sprays something on Batman and immediately grabs him by the back of the head. The Joker has a knife to Batman’s throat ready to slice when Gordon appears. Gordon’s shotgun is pressed to his head when the Joker slowly turns and jokes, ”Can ya give me a minute?” Sources on site reported the scene took at least 10 takes as the crew perfected the Joker’s spray
