    That's true enough, but only if you were referring to the immediate future. Lakers seem quagmired at the moment and for the forseeable future, but the last time I thought this way about them they put it together and won 3 straight les. Spurs have what, 1 or 2 years of contention left before checking that team into a retirement home?
