So I ended up selling my Treo for the price I wanted.

While I was ranting last night, I got an e-mail from somebody wanting to buy it. We agreed on a price (I came down $5 -- $10 more than I was asking for just the phone -- when he asked about the card I was selling with it).

I called him this morning, we met up, he switched the phone over and handed me a wad of 20s.

Nice and simple, the way it should be.
