Since you're going by that, Boston nearly lost to 2 incredibly ty teams, when the Spurs nearly only lost to one. So, 2 > 1, you still lose.
It's not in the San Antonio Spurs best interest to get the best record.
No, but proclaiming they're gonna go 82-0, beat the Lakers 33 win streak and coast to the finals and win the ship makes them clueless. I'm not saying all NBA fans are saying this, just the stupid ones. And there are a lot of stupid ones.
The officiating was atrocious in general. They tried to give the game to BOS, started calling random three seconds, and then when guys were intentionally fouling Howard they wouldn't call it. Howard is not the type of person to get angry like that. Then it's like they felt bad and started giving the Magic some calls.
If this is what we have to look forward to in the playoffs i feel a headache coming on.

A lotta people on this board are knowledgeable, but the casual fans I meet in real life and on other boards say it and I release my pent up anger here, because I end up looking like an ass in real life or I end up getting banned on other boards.
I remember last year when I visited relatives in Miami last year. We went to game 4 of Bulls/Heat. After the game Heat fans were telling a Bulls fans and this is an actual qoute. " Well we won the le last year. What have the Bulls done?" Think about that one.
Pierce should have driven to the basket on the last play. He could have gotten a layup and a possible 3 point play or the foul to tie the game.
You're not real good at picking up sarcasm, are you? Rare is the fan that says the you're annoyed at, and those fans are obviously a little zealous or more likely being extreme and sarcastic. And, I'll leave it to you to analyze and label yourself for getting upset at fans proclaiming silly things.

I've met a wide range of NBA fans. From the most intelligent to the most clueless. You need to expand your horizons/diversify yourself.
I get annoyed because I think they actually believe those silly things they say.
That's my point. If someone actually believed that the Celtics were going to win 70+ games or that they'd break the consecutive win streak record, it wouldn't upset me at all. I'd laugh at them. If a person is clueless about sports, why would you let what they think annoy you?

I know alot of Spurs fans will disagree but to me the best ref working now is Joe Crawford. I know he is a hothead and sometimes thinks he is bigger then the game. But he is always fair and is not swayed by the home crowd. Bavetta on the other hand is a good official but panders sometimes to the home crowd.

Hedo having a great season-- caerer highs in points, rebounds, and assists. People forget just how young he was when he was on the Spurs because of the years he had been in the NBA. You would not believe the number of people who argued with me when I told them Hedo was younger than Devin Brown.
Who said he was a fluke? I think he will have a better career than the 2nd pick Okafor. The Magic with the roster the have now is probably not good enough to make it to the Finals but I think they have enough to at least make it to the ECF. I just don't see them beating a Boston or Detroit in the conference finals.
Some idiot troll that posts on here is convinced Howard really isn't all that. Too bad for him, he is all that, and then some. He's scary this year.
What is scary is that he is only 21.
