    This isn't about the game anymore. I'm getting sick of mono's diatribes. He's like Stephen A. Smith without a mic--the louder he is, the more right he thinks he is.

    Brandon Bass is a decent player who will get better, sure. But "the difference" will be the play of Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard in the waning moments of big games. Fact is, Dampier was more of a difference tonight than Bass, and if you think Bass is the missing ingredient in your team, you're dead ing wrong.

    You're an idiot. This team needs Dampier. He was tired at the end of the game but he totally shut down Stoudemire and dominated the boards in the first half. Yeah maybe Diop should've got more run but Dampier is the main man at the center position.
