Yes, but sometimes don't you just want to dress up to just look pretty.....without the intent of getting so much male attention? Don't even get me started on those men who literally look you up and down like ur a piece of meat and then come up to u with some cheesy ass pickup line......

I do and have gotton "looks" when I've gone out... but guys look all the time, even when your not looking your best. PLUS - I look too. I've oogled a few guys in my time, and a few girls for that matter.
And there is definatly a difference between provacative and dressed up . Anyone (male or female) who leaves the house dressed provacativly like a is just begging for attention and they are going to get it good or bad.
also- my hubby is pretty muscular (if short) and nearly always attached to my hip, so I have never been approached by a re . Not too mention I have eyes of death for them if they dared.

You disagree with it? That's because you're a guy and haven't had to experience it first hand. Obviously three are some women in Corp America who are aggressive and " y." But a lot of times, they have to be beause it's such a male dominated field.

Another point I'd like to make, a lot of these generalizations are partly women's fault too. Many women call other women who speak their minds a or a girl who sleeps around a .

I think #1 is more the fault of men. Nothing like putting a strong woman in her place than by calling her a . #2 is still widely held beliefs in society and #3 is the fault of women. A woman dressed in a tight skirt and low cut blouse will cause a man to gawk and his female comapnion will call her a .

Ok, maybe I wasn't very clear. Obviously there are times when I myself go out looking all pretty ( ) in hopes of attention or whatever. But, all I'm saying is that, sometimes don't you ever want to dress up and go out with your girlfriends or whatever, just for yourself....and feel pretty for yourself?

2 weeks ago I'm walking home from my daughter's doctor's apt.
Picture this is your head people:
It's 99thousand degrees outside , i'm sweaty - so much that my shorts are sticking to my ass, I'm pregnant, and I'm pushing a stroller that has my 16 month old daughter in it.

Some guy (actually a hott looking black guy) pulls over and tries to get my name and #. He didn't even offer me a ride.. he was just trying to talk smack and get my digits.

After Isabella was born I got together with some other "april mommies" and we had our hubby's watch the kids and went out for dinner and a movie. I got all dressed up to make it "special" and to feel ultra pretty.

damn I wish I just wore jeans and a nice shirt.
I was very uncomfortable all night and I kept having to be carefull how I sat at the restaurant. My feet hurt, and my pantyhose ran.
It was not as fun to look "pretty" without the prospect of flirting with my husband all night and then having sex in the car or at home.
In fact I got home to a baby who was still awake and a hubby who was tired and cranky. then I spent another hour in that damn outfit while I took care of those 2.
